You are a beautiful person

We got this anonymous note in our mailbox the other day. Apparently someone thinks that one of us is a beautiful person. Aww, thank you!

The husband found the note and it took me all night to convince him that it wasn’t from me. First of all, the handwriting is nothing like mine. Second, why would I tell him he was beautiful? Wouldn’t I say handsome? Or amazing? Or the best husband ever? He finally believed it wasn’t me when I showed him that the envelopes we have are a different color than the envelope the note was in. Geesh.
Plus, hello, the note was totally meant for me, right?
Now the husband is convinced he has an admirer.
Anyway, I have my suspicions about who of our neighbors might have sent it, but I really have no idea. We got a kick out of it though! I’ve heard of people leaving anonymous notes like this to encourage others, and I’ve seen sweet messages like this in the women’s restroom at work. So now I’m thinking I need to pass the note along to someone else.
Have you ever found a note like this????

The husband does shovel snow for the single mother across the street……..I'd say that qualifies as a beautiful person! Not to say that you are not a beautiful person, too!

Yesterday I didn't leave a comment because of how I took this note. I am really glad people look at it so positively. But, Jon & I both agree with "Vander Molens"! However, both of you are beautiful in every sense of the word.

It really is true when they say the days are long It really is true when they say the days are long but the years are short. One day I’m struggling to carry two babies at a time while wrangling a toddler and then next minute they are all off to school and practices and friends’ houses. With all three kids in school we’ve been thinking a lot about their futures and how we are going to one day pay for college. We set up a Michigan Education Trust 529 plan for each of our kids when they were babies and I am SO happy we did! With a MET account, we can pay for future college tuition at today’s prices. With MET’s discounted age-based pricing the earlier you start, the more you are able to save! Plus grandparents and other loved ones can contribute to my kids’ accounts too! With MET you get back what you put in if your child chooses a different path and the money goes with you if your child goes to school out of state. You can even transfer it to immediate family members and all contributions to MET plans are tax deductible! To learn more about how to set up a MET account and the benefits of starting your child’s account early, check out my stories or the link in my bio. @mieducationtrust #sponsored #SETwithMET #MI529 #collegesavings #METSept2023
