Beautiful shoes! I thought of two things that I love that sounded well together. Obviously my kids… And wine – I love a good glass of wine… hence the Cabernet. And that's how Kids and Cabernet was born! 🙂
love it. my farmer and i were both born in september…four days a part. naturally, this makes it my very most favorite month. and then there's the whole bit of living on a farm…
I finally shared mine in my 31 Things post, but Strawberry Swing was the song I walked down the aisle to (a string version). Since I started blogging when we returned from my honeymoon as a recap of all things honeymoon and wedding (and misc) Strawberry Swing and other things just worked, had more of a ring to it than "Love and Stuff" 🙂
I love this! There are so many fun names I would call my blog if I started over again (a sprinkle of cinnamon, my bitter thumb…) but mine is all about the food I make, the accessories I make, the tutu's I sew, the balloons I make… its not just handmade, but meg-made!
Mine is "My Lifesong" after the song by the same name by Casting Crowns. "May the words I say and the things I do, make my lifesong sing, bring a smile to you" It is my hope that my blog reflects that mentality as I document my life through it. And those are some beautiful shoes!!
My blog is The Gingerbred House – not for a house made of gingerbread, but because when you and your husband have red hair…you're pretty sure you're going to have little ginger babies!
I blog at we're babybound, think when you're traveling you're California-bound or Canada-bound ect ect. I blogged our journey to baby, which took much longer than expected and had a few rough bumps along the way.
I always wondered about your blog name 🙂 My hubby actually came up with my blog name, so I was impressed! I wanted it to be a reflection of me, so I'm a mom (carseats), and one of my favorite things to do is relax with a cocktail. Preferably near a beach, but at home is good too 🙂
Waves of Grace: I've always felt a home at the oceans and came to the realization that the Grace that we're given by the Lord is a lot like the ocean. We are the small grains of sand and his Grace washes upon us day in and day out. And at the same time we are reminded that our problems & concerns are as small as the sand and our God is the ocean. <3
yay for wearing red wedding shoes at your wedding, i did too 🙂 hm.. how did I come up with it, can't really remember, just couldn't think of anything else really so I went with it 🙂 p.s. your breastfeeding diaries series looking for any stories?
I think your blog should be called, "Girl with the Gorgeous Red Hair" because I'd never even notice your shoes – too busy looking at your hair. Hair envy over here!! Always Painted, Usually Chipped is my blog. I randomly said once, "My toenails are always painted, but usually chipped". It sounded like a metaphor for life and popped in my head when I named the blog (which is problematic since people often visit my blog looking for nail polish tips).
I love your blog name, especially because it can grow with you! I had a really hard time naming my blog and just settled on Meet the Sullivans. We had just gotten married and I was writing about married life, so it seemed like a good fit. Going forward I wish I had went with something a little more clever and something without our name in the title. Having our name in the title screams Personal Family Blog.
Love the red shoes…And the blog name:) I started my blog with the name The Newly because I was getting ready to be a newlywed, and everything was new at that time!:)
I always wondered how you came up with your blog name! Now it all makes sense 🙂
My friend actually came up with mine when I re-named it in January. I have a toddler named Mason who I am always chasing…and then Chasin' Mason was born!
A t-shirt one of my BFFs designed in college. I kinda wish I could take it back, and Girl in the Red Shoes is SOOO much better. I thought of you constantly when I was debating between blue and red wedding shoes.
I was wondering where your name came from! I love it, and those shoes too 🙂
I share a blog with my sister, and it's just a simple and sweet blog about our little ones and all the sweet, fun, and crazy things we encounter while being mothers together.
I'm a lawyer, and blonde and well it just worked!

It is based on our last name. That is my husbands nickname, and when we got married I became Mrs. Perk. 🙂
I wanted to make sure and make my blog about my pictures and being a feisty Latina is my favorite thing about myself! So, The Latina Lens was born!
