Now that Sadie is ONE we have the go-ahead to let her eat basically everything. But let’s be real…she’s been eating what we eat for a while now. She loves her a good snack, and I want to make sure she has plenty of healthy foods to choose from! In fact, I want both of my kids to make healthy choices….so I’m always on the look out for ways to make snacking fun and good for them.
So I decided to get creative and came up with our new favorite go-to snack. I wasn’t sure if Hudson would like it too, but much to my surprise both kids LOVE it. Which is a total win in my book!
Here’s what you’ll need to make your own:
Eat immediately or seal in a plastic bag to save for later!
Sadie totally thinks she is a big girl now that she has her own snack cup!
- 1/3 cup Lil’ Beanies(TM) by Gerber®
- 1/3 cup freeze dried strawberries
- 1/3 cup yogurt melts
- 1/3 cup pretzels
- 1/4 cup raisins
You can get creative and add more or less depending on what you like! Dump everything in to a big bowl and mix it up. Bonus points if you have a little helper.

Gerber® Lil’ Beanies(TM) is a nutritious snack that has 2 grams of protein (9% Daily Value) and 1 gram of fiber per serving. So I feel good about giving it to both of my little ones.
Lil’ Beanies(TM) are available in original (what I used) and White Cheddar and Broccoli…which are also yummy!
Lil’ Beanies(TM) are made from navy beans and naturally flavored with no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Lil’ Beanies(TM) are baked, not made with genetically engineered (GM) ingredients and have a taste that both my kids love!
We found our Gerber® Lil’ Beanies(TM) at our favorite store….Target of course!
Sounds delicious! And I can relate to being unsure if the 3 (almost 4) year old will like it too… They are so picky!
What a perfect little mix. Adorable photos, as always. 🙂
Looks like a good snack. Love Sadie's shoes!!
Love that mix!! Will have to try that one.
Don't kids always love those mixes!? Way to be creative!
Oh that's a great idea to stretch each item. Because I know Hattie would eat a can of those in a sitting! I've seen it!
Mmmm, yummy! Good idea to make it into a mix! My kiddos plow through things so quickly, I should make more mixes!
Thanks for sharing!
Oh I love the idea of putting the gerber puffs into a mix! Yummy!
Love this idea for toddlers!!! 🙂
This looks too fun, Julie! We'll definitely be trying this one! Thanks, girl!

She IS a big girl now with her own snack cup. 🙂 I like the mix!
