There’s No Such Thing as Too Much Turkey

Oh man. I’m officially declaring this Thanksgiving as the best one ever.  So much to be thankful for. And so much amazing food!
Hudson’s first Thanksgiving was a success! No turkey for him this year….but I’m sure he’ll love it next year!

 Little doggie booty.
We celebrated this year at my mom’s lake house. Everything was perfect.
Hudson took a little pre-Thanksgiving nap on Grandma R. She has the magic touch.

All the yummy food! My mom really outdid herself. Everything was so good.

So thankful for our little turkey! He lasted maybe 5 minutes in his car seat before demanding to be held during dinner. I can’t blame him….I wouldn’t want to miss out on any Thanksgiving action either!
Lots of geese in the lake.
And a blurry photo of a deer in my mom’s back yard. About 5 of them casually strolled by and I was frantic to get the camera out without Wrigley noticing and going crazy!
Instead of shopping on black Friday we just ate more food…and relaxed. It was perfect. Hudson was refusing to nap….but I finally got him to sleep in his car seat…..

….and apparently took a little snooze myself. On the floor. With the dog. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do!
I hope your Thanksgiving was filled with lots of turkey and lots of love!

You know you're a mom when you pass out on the floor 😉 I feel asleep on the floor the other day, just completely passed out, with my head on my dogs bed next to him. Sometimes life is just exhausting!

#ad It’s that time of year! Time to make sure yo #ad It’s that time of year! Time to make sure your child is up to date on their well-child visits and vaccines! As the chief advocate for my kids, I always want to make decisions that are the best for them and for our family. There isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for these little loves of mine, and I know all of you can relate! That is why I vaccinate my kids. Vaccinating your child is one of the safest and most effective things you can do to protect them against serious preventable diseases. If you live in Michigan like we do, it’s time to schedule that well-child visit and make sure your kids are up to date on their vaccinations! I’ve done a lot of research and talked to our pediatrician at length about what is best for my family and I would encourage you to do so too. It’s normal to have questions—it makes you a good parent! But make sure you are getting answers from credible sources. Remember, vaccines are safe, effective, and help protect everyone. Ultimately I decided to vaccinate my children because not doing so puts them at risk of contracting a potentially deadly disease. I want the best for my kids. If you have questions or need a reliable resource, check out @IVaccinateMI for information and tools based on real medical science and research to help Michigan parents protect their kids from vaccine-preventable diseases.
