Thanksgiving Fun

It was so hard to go back to work this morning after having four wonderful days off! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

The husband and I went up to my mom’s lake house for Thanksgiving and my in-laws and sister-in-law joined us too. I was too busy eating to take any photos other than of my mom’s adorable country table.

And yes, those are squirrel napkin rings.
We had a great time and ate way too much yummy food. Back to the gym for us this week!
On Friday the only shopping the husband and I did was to pick out our Christmas tree! We opted for a smaller tree this year since the one we had last year was so big it fell over three times. This tree was a breeze in comparison. We also took advantage of the warm weather and put lights up on  the outside of our house….and they look way better than last year! I’ll be sure to share them with you once I figure out the rest of the outdoor decorations.
Also new this year? Wrigley and Henry each have their own tree!
Wrigley happily posed by his in the kitchen. Henry wasn’t as agreeable.
Did you go shopping on Black Friday? I bought a few things online Thanksgiving morning but that’s it. Big crowds at stores make me nervous!

So sweet that Wrigley and Henry get their own trees. 🙂 Brady isn't that lucky, but he does have his own stocking. haha. I don't do Black Friday shopping either. #1 I like my sleep too much and #2 I don't like huge crowds either.

First off, WRIGLEY'S photo on your side bar of your blog, is ABSOLUTELY PRECIOUS and HISTERICAL! Love him in the boots! I have a giant, yellow lab, and I dress him up hahah, cruel right? I think he secretly enjoys it though, as long as he is getting attention!

Sounds like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family! Your Christmas tree is so pretty! Amazing job on the decorations!!

I love that your animals get their own trees!! While I love my roommates cat he will not be getting a tree haha! A stocking filled with goodies will be his treat! I braved the Black Friday crowds and surprisingly it was not that bad, however I only bought four things and shopped for almost 10 hours – it was kind of a bust 🙁

#ad It’s that time of year! Time to make sure yo #ad It’s that time of year! Time to make sure your child is up to date on their well-child visits and vaccines! As the chief advocate for my kids, I always want to make decisions that are the best for them and for our family. There isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for these little loves of mine, and I know all of you can relate! That is why I vaccinate my kids. Vaccinating your child is one of the safest and most effective things you can do to protect them against serious preventable diseases. If you live in Michigan like we do, it’s time to schedule that well-child visit and make sure your kids are up to date on their vaccinations! I’ve done a lot of research and talked to our pediatrician at length about what is best for my family and I would encourage you to do so too. It’s normal to have questions—it makes you a good parent! But make sure you are getting answers from credible sources. Remember, vaccines are safe, effective, and help protect everyone. Ultimately I decided to vaccinate my children because not doing so puts them at risk of contracting a potentially deadly disease. I want the best for my kids. If you have questions or need a reliable resource, check out @IVaccinateMI for information and tools based on real medical science and research to help Michigan parents protect their kids from vaccine-preventable diseases.
