Target Lately

Oh Target. My favorite store. What would we do without it? Just for fun, I thought I’d share some of the things I’ve picked up at Target lately that we’ve been loving in our house!

Bathroom basket. Oh man I love this one so much! It’s designed to sit on the top of your toilet and holds two rolls of toilet paper. Instead of toilet paper I store the kid’s hair brushes, conditioning sprays, and sunscreen in it. I use it in our powder bath that’s right off the kitchen and mud room, so it’s lacking a bit of storage. I love having all the things I need for the kids for school all contained in one cleverly hidden spot.

Macrame table runner. This is so pretty in person! And sooo affordable compared to others like it.

Side table. I bought this for my office to store our internet router and it looks soooo nice! And it was easy to put together.

Hook rail. I got this to store the kid’s towels in our bathroom. They LOVE to shower in our giant shower each night, and I was tired of dragging their towels back upstairs to their bathroom to dry. This has such a modern farmhouse vibe that I’m loving lately.

Kids hooded towel. Speaking of kid’s towels, I picked up these cute hooded towels for the kids and they are so cute. They come in a ton of different animals (although all three of my kids fight over the same exact one..the kitty).

Strawberry swim suit. Let’s be real. Most of the stuff I buy at Target is for my kids. This strawberry suit is SO darling on!!!

Gingham dress. Oh my word, this is my FAVORITE recent find. This dress is DARLING! I can’t wait for my girls to wear it for 4th of July.

Sparkle sandals. Of course I had to buy these rose gold sparkly sandals for the girls. Right????

Table lamp. I bought two of these for our bedroom and love them! So cute and functional.

Stay tuned for more Target finds….because I’m there every week, ha! Click here and here for my Amazon Lately posts!

It really is true when they say the days are long It really is true when they say the days are long but the years are short. One day I’m struggling to carry two babies at a time while wrangling a toddler and then next minute they are all off to school and practices and friends’ houses. With all three kids in school we’ve been thinking a lot about their futures and how we are going to one day pay for college. We set up a Michigan Education Trust 529 plan for each of our kids when they were babies and I am SO happy we did! With a MET account, we can pay for future college tuition at today’s prices. With MET’s discounted age-based pricing the earlier you start, the more you are able to save! Plus grandparents and other loved ones can contribute to my kids’ accounts too! With MET you get back what you put in if your child chooses a different path and the money goes with you if your child goes to school out of state. You can even transfer it to immediate family members and all contributions to MET plans are tax deductible! To learn more about how to set up a MET account and the benefits of starting your child’s account early, check out my stories or the link in my bio. @mieducationtrust #sponsored #SETwithMET #MI529 #collegesavings #METSept2023
