I can’t believe it! My big girl is finished with her last day of 3’s preschool. She LOVED every second of it and even begged to go to school on non-school days.
It seems like only yesterday she started. I remember being nervous about how she was going to do in school because she was used to being with me all day every day. But girlfriend put her whole heart in to it, didn’t cry at drop off once, and had the best time! I also remember worrying about what she was going to wear each day…..which is so silly I know! From Hudson’s preschool days I knew things could get messy….especially because the school is also a farm with animals to take care of and plants to plant. I was worried that my dress and Hunter boot loving girl would fight me big time on wearing play clothes and pants to school. And she did! I think she wore a dress to school 95% of the days! And it worked out just fine! She’s like her mama and doesn’t like to get dirty, ha!
Sadie made the two sweetest little friends! The hand holding in this pic just kills me! These girls are bffs and it is the cutest thing ever. As soon as I pick Sadie up from school she is non-stop about her two friends and what they did that day. And then the next thing I know it she is BEGGING to go over to their houses! I’m so glad I love their moms because playdates with these ladies are fun for all of us! I predict lots and lots of playdates this summer with these cuties.
This year Sadie has learned so much! She can recognize the letter “s” wherever we go, write her name (with a little help), and knows all her colors, number, animals, appropriate school social skills…..and SO much more. I am amazed by her!
She did get in trouble one day (and by trouble, I mean she had to sit next to her teacher) for talking and not listening…which cracks me up because it is the complete opposite of shy little Hudson when he was in preschool. Her teacher describes her as social and sweet, which is a pretty accurate description of my girl!
Hudson went to the same preschool for three years (2 years of preschool, 1 year of young fives) but we have learned SO much more this year about what goes on at school during the day from Sadie. She tells us everything and Hudson basically told us nothing. So funny to see the differences between the two!
We are so thankful for a fun year of school and are looking forward to next year already! Congrats my Sadie girl!
She definitely enjoyed school and she will miss it over the summer. I so enjoy watching her make friends and develop social skills. She will always be Sweet Sadie!
Ahh! Look how grown-up she looks. I love that she loves school!
