Please explain…..

Please explain why my baby is growing up so fast.
We officially have a crawler in our house!

Hudson is ON THE MOVE. And it is so exciting! And terrifying! Baby proofing is in full force at our house.
Please also explain why crawling = attitude. Someone thinks he’s too cool for school cute sunglasses now that he can crawl. He started crawling on Friday and has been all over the place ever since. The boy does NOT like to sit still…unless we are watching daddy coach baseball, like we are in the picture above. I have a feeling we will be spending a lot of time on the baseball field in our future!
Please explain how I can stop this. I knew as soon as Hudson was able to crawl he would head straight to Wrigley’s water dish. I can’t block it off because then Wrigley can’t get to it. And I can’t put up baby gates to our kitchen because there are three entrances…it would be a nightmare. (And yes, in case you were wondering, Wrigley is licking Hudson’s little tush. And yes, there was poop in there. Just keepin’ it real.)
Please explain how my kid is so darn cute. I know I’m biased, but seriously! I found this little gem on my phone last night. Matching mommy and baby dimples for the win!

He is just the happiest little thing! Jason and I talk about what the heck we're going to do once Kenley is mobile! I cannot imagine!

A few firm "no's" may create some tears– but totally helped us with the water bowl issue!! I'm so exited for little h to be crawling… It's such an amazing fun stage seeing them explore- and he'll be so exhausted he'll sleep like a log!

Love that picture of you both. Don't you wish you could press pause for two hours before the crawling started and get everything done you can't now. They'll be walking before we know it!

Your kid IS so darn cute. I can't even handle how proud he looks crawling.

Wasn't he just a tiny newborn yesterday?!?

Get ready for some baby chasing! I gave up on keeping the kid out of the water bowls, I let him play in it now, it was too much effort to pull him away from it over and over AND OVER again. Once he's allowed to play in it it's no nearly so exciting and I only find him in it every once in awhile now rather than every time I turned around =) Good luck, the crawling changes everything, they manage to get into so many things!

I loved when D started crawling and then he found the water dishes and now we've pretty much given up. This weekend he was elbow deep. Good luck and let me know if you have any tips. 🙂

He is absolutely precious! 🙂 And I LOVE the picture of Wrigley licking his butt. HAHAHAHA! So cute!

Could you get one of those raised dog food dishes? So Wrigley can still get it, but it's higher up so Hudson can't get it? At least for a while? I've seen tutorials for them on Pinterest!

Oh my, he is on the move! I have zero advice for you, but I can definitely agree that he is too darn cute. Seriously, his chubby cheeks melt my heart!

Crawling is so fun!! But so awful!!! My little guys has learned to walk and CLIMB! We currently have all of our dining room chairs on their sides under the dining room table. I don't know how people keep their homes pretty, functional and baby proof at the same time. Our pup now only gets his water bowl during nap time and after bed!

I can never get enough pics of your little cutie!! You might be biased, but you're RIGHT! Your kid is seriously the cutest guy in the world! That pic of the sunglasses is just too much!!

We put Molly's water dish in our pantry closet floor. It's not big in there but it fits on the floor and if the dog goes over we open the door. Max now closes any door he sees open (which is actually very helpful).
