Oh Hey Friday

Finally Friday!!!!!
{one} My sweet husband bought me a new Macbook Pro because I almost threw our old one out the window on several occasions….and I LOVE it. But can someone please come over and make all my apple devices talk to each other? Because….NOBODY UNDERSTANDS THE CLOUD. Name that movie. But for real…I totally don’t get it.
{two} My one and only Valentine’s Day decoration. And it will probably be gone by this weekend…because I can’t resist the candy hearts.
{three} I’m getting my hair cut today and I can’t wait! I’ve had to cancel a few appointments due to sickness, morning sickness, and snow….so I’m way past due. I’m sure an instagram photo will be in the works later today!

{four} I went to Target last night by myself (heaven!) and a ton of the maternity stuff was 50% off, plus and additional 20% off with cartwheel app. The selection was pretty picked over but I found a few cute sweaters. I’m all about stripes during pregnancy!

{five} You all know I’m a big fan of breastfeeding….but I’m an even bigger fan of moms. Everyone has to do what’s best for them and their baby, no matter what that may be. We are all fighting a hard battle. This video is spot on.
Happy weekend my friends!
And now the link ups….

Stopping in from the link-up! I totally feel you about the Cloud. I fall into the category of being absolutely clueless and have been there for about 4+ years now. 😉 I am sure you will figure it out in no time though! Love your adorable jar of candy hearts! So festive! Have a great weekend!

I don't understand the cloud either! I did it the old school way with an external hard drive and moved everything I needed! Have a great weekend!

Hi Julie – I agree with the cloud. It is confusing, but not impossible! Apple has some good instructions that you can find at http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT5872. If you still have issues, I would be happy to help. Good luck!

Congrats on the new computer! I told my husband just yesterday that we're probably going to need to buy a new Mac soon and I have a feeling I'm going to be in the same boat – Cloud, what?!? Anyway, enjoy your haircut! Have a great weekend!

YAY for a new macbook pro! I love love love mine! Syncing everything should be easier, but it's just not!
Good luck with the haircut–I need to get one soon too. Can't wait to see how it all turns out!

I LOVE Mac products, but I can never get them synced up properly, and I never take the time to try, haha!! I am so glad you found some goodies at Target – I always just walk past their maternity section because it's so tiny and messy…maybe that's just our store, but I have better luck online. I usually just head straight for the clearance end caps at Target to see what I can find. 😉 Have a fun weekend!!

Good find on the Target deals! Today, there is a cartwheel deal for 40% off all shoes, so I will be heading there to see what they've got:) I wish I could help with your Mac questions, but alas, I am not an Apple user, so I have no idea how to make your devices all talk to each other! Good luck! And happy weekend!:)

Your new computer will blow your mind with the cloud. I swear they now make it so seamless and everything talks to each other. The hard part is all the old computer stuff. But one word photo stream! (Okay two words).

LOVE that video, I actually shared it on my personal FB page yesterday. It's so true how we all have the best interest of our babies in mind, no way is better than the other 🙂

My husband just bought me a new macbook pro also and I LOVE it, but this is my first MAC computer, so I have no idea how to sync your phone, but somehow in the installation process I synced it. This MAC world is a whole new brood.. I'm constantly googling 'how to… on a mac" haha

    Have a great weekend! xo

I love my MAC Pro.. I had to sync them up and it took forever but you can migrate them without going through the cloud. If you need help e-mail me cwilliams2234@gmail.com and I can help you. I had to do that last summer.
Can't wait to see your hair cut 🙂

YAY for a new computer!!!! I got mine almost a year ago and LOVE it. I got the Pro also. Honestly I know nothing about the cloud and how it works but when I open iPhoto and click on iCloud, the photos from my phone are there. And that's all I know and care about. I don't know how it works but it does! I think it has to do with syncing your phone and computer? I recommend a date with an Apple genius for that one 🙂

I've seen that video on several FB pages but just watched….so darn true. I think the older I get the easier it is to accept that we are all just in it for survival whatever it takes and at the end of the day we all love our kids. I got a new Macbook too and I'm still trying to get all my pics off my old one! Then my dang dog chewed up the charger for the old one so I can't even get onto to it!! Technology can make me so crazy.

It really is true when they say the days are long It really is true when they say the days are long but the years are short. One day I’m struggling to carry two babies at a time while wrangling a toddler and then next minute they are all off to school and practices and friends’ houses. With all three kids in school we’ve been thinking a lot about their futures and how we are going to one day pay for college. We set up a Michigan Education Trust 529 plan for each of our kids when they were babies and I am SO happy we did! With a MET account, we can pay for future college tuition at today’s prices. With MET’s discounted age-based pricing the earlier you start, the more you are able to save! Plus grandparents and other loved ones can contribute to my kids’ accounts too! With MET you get back what you put in if your child chooses a different path and the money goes with you if your child goes to school out of state. You can even transfer it to immediate family members and all contributions to MET plans are tax deductible! To learn more about how to set up a MET account and the benefits of starting your child’s account early, check out my stories or the link in my bio. @mieducationtrust #sponsored #SETwithMET #MI529 #collegesavings #METSept2023
