Oh Heeeyyyyy Friday

This week flew by. I felt like I spent the week racing back and forth between preschool, playdates with friends, swim lessons, and a ton of little errands. And I still haven’t unpacked from my trip!

{one} These two…..totally nailed the Christmas card photo. Patting myself on the back for snapping that one.

{two} But don’t go thinking my kids are perfect. For every adorable photo I snap, I take at least 50 flops. But sometimes the flops turn out pretty good to. Haha. Hell hath no fury like a 3 year old who doens’t want their picture taken. Hudson was DONE. When I’m over it I feel like just laying on the ground too. Can’t blame him one bit.

{three} I owe you all a house update! It actually is coming along right on schedule! I can’t believe it. We should move in sometime in February. I promise you a big fat “building a house” post soon…maybe once things settle down a bit. Or maybe next week. Who knows. I like to keep you on your toes.

We did a walk-through last week and the trim guy was there working. He showed us the paneling that was planned for the mud room area and I fell in love….and asked him to give us a quote for adding the same paneling to the entry way. The quote came back while I was in California and my husband gave them the go-ahead to do it. Merry Christmas to me!

{four} I need a long, gold bridesmaid dress for a wedding I’m in this February. I’ve purchased all of these dresses so far and am still trying to decide if one of them will work. I’m kind of go big or go home with this dress. I mean, how often do you get an excuse to wear a fancy gold dress? My post-partum body is just so weird…nothing fits me right. And even though my baby weight fell off the first time around from just breastfeeding, it doesn’t seem to be happening as fast this time. All those cookies I’ve been eating probably hasn’t helped matters either.

{five} Speaking of cookies…..we are making these again. They weBetty Crocker just gave me permission to host ANOTHER giveaway for $20 PayPal cash! It’s super easy to win! Enter below. And check out the original post for more cookie goodness and another chance to win. I’m like Oprah “You get some cash! You get some cash!”

Are soooooo good. And yes, it’s a sponsored post BUT the folks at

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Have a great weekend my friends!

I like the first and the last gold dress…tough choice. I had the same problem, I was smaller like 2 days after having my first and the second, hes 3 now and I still have the belly which sucks but I guess if I actually exercised, it would go away eventually bahaha!

The house is gorgeous! And typically weight loss from breastfeeding doesn't kick in until 6 months, so hopefully the lbs will start dropping bit has finally happened for me and I am loving that the number on the scale keeps getting smaller while I stuff my face with holiday goodies.

I'm having the same post partum weight loss problem. Not as quick, kind of weird, and yeah…way too many treats lol. Ah well. Luckily it's sweater and legging season :p

You are going to look SO gorgeous in a bangin gold dress though. I can't wait to see what you choose!

I also can't wait for your home update! I definitely need to do one of those too…so many things so little time :p
