The countdown to Sadie’s first birthday has begun! I can’t even believe my sweet baby is already almost one whole year old.
I realized when I started unpacking her room that we didn’t have many books that weren’t about trucks, cars, or bulldozers. So I thought it was time to get Sadie some books of her own! And I want to share a few of our new favorites with you. Don’t worry boy mamas, Hudson loves these books too!
Here are some new favorites we are loving lately. The All Aboard series Paris, California (my favorite!) and National Parks. And BabyLit Pride and Prejudice and Emma too. The books are bright, fun, and simple to read. And the illustrations are so adorable! And while I was at it I snagged a few little gifts for Sadie’s birthday: namely this sweet unicorn and this Chewbeads Juniorbeads necklace.
Sadie LOVES her new books and I’m basically obsessed with watching her “read”.
What are your child’s favorite books?
I found these adorable books at The Baby Cubby…which is my new favorite store! They stock all of my most favorite brands and are so much more than just another baby store…they are a resource for this amazing journey called parenthood. The team at Baby Cubby is made up of parents who have been there and know what it’s like to have little ones at home. They find the best and safest baby gear and provide it to parents in a fun shopping experience both online and in store. They research and test their products so you know you are buying something that is safe for your baby. In their store you can test out the products (like test the strollers on their stroller track!) and they price match every day – even Amazon – and offer free shipping nationwide. I prefer shopping at places like Baby Cubby because of the hands on experience….plus since they price match I know I’m getting the best deal out there!
Use code “THEGIRLINTHEREDSHOES” for 10% off your order now until May 24, 2016.
The Baby Cubby also stocks our most favorite stroller, the Baby Jogger City Select. I sure would have loved to test drive this when I was pregnant! I loved it as a single stroller and still love it as a double too. You can find it here.
*this post is brought to you by Baby Cubby but all opinions are my own.

Right now our jam is the Pigeon series (Don't Let the Pigeon…) and Clifford the Big Red Dog. It's an eclectic mix. I wish I had known about these books when Maddy was this age – too cute!

Stop it with Sadie being almost one. Why do they grow up so quickly? It's not okay. I love her reading her books. So precious. I've been eyeing those books for a while now. I think I need to just get them.

How so sweet! Counselling is problem solving. A therapist can help someone increase their self-knowledge, emotional acceptance and growth, counselling sudbury as well as the optimal development of personal resources to get them through tough times.
