Movin’ On Up

We’ve had some big changes around here.

First, we had to lower Sadie’s crib. And of course the next day she decides to try and stand up….which means we will have to lower it again soon. This girl is trouble.

Swaddle blanket by Just Born here.

Girlfriend weighs 20 pounds. Which also means it’s time to get her in a convertible carseat! Lugging her around in her infant seat was getting OLD…and HEAVY! I’ve told her over and over again to stop growing, but she just isn’t listening to me. These kids and their growing up….it just kills me.

So we are going to put Sadie in her brand new Maxi-Cosi Pria 70 this weekend! I’m excited for her to be more comfortable in the car….and excited for me that I don’t have to lift that infant seat anymore. But it’s still sad! Why do babies have to grow up?

Sadie’s pretty excited about her new pink seat!
Maxi-Cosi’s NEW Pria 70 is a convertible car seat that provides optimal child safety and comfort from 9-70 pounds. With Air Protect technology and CosiCushion premium fabrics and padding, both forward- and rear-facing children are guaranteed maximum protection.

So I feel good about putting her in this seat! Plus it’s so soft! Instillation looks standard and it was pretty easy to strap her in. Hudson loves Sadie’s seat too and keeps pointing out to me the fact that this carseat is pink…..which means he should have a blue one, right? Sibling rivalry starts early I guess!

Happy Friday friends!

Why can't they stay small just a little bit longer? The first year goes by so fast and it's just not okay. Love Sadie's new carseat. I've heard great things about that one. The fact that it's pink is so fun too! Don't blame Hudson for constantly pointing it out. Ha ha!

Love the pink seat!! We just moved Mabel to Abigail's convertible this last week and now Abigail is in a high backed BOOSTER. WHAT. It's all going too fast!

A convertible car seat already?! Oh my goodness! I've debated moving Oliver into one, but just haven't done it yet. I'm secretly hoping we can hold out a few more months, though I'm sure he would love it and feel like such a big boy in it! I love this carseat you got for Sadie, there are so many options out there!

Sully is 20 pounds now too, it's crazy how fast these little girls are growing! I love that carseat and we actually need a second convertible one so I think I need to just bite the bullet and buy it soon. Have a great weekend!

That car seat looks awesome! My daughter just turned one last week (and is bordering on 20lbs!) so we are moving her into her convertible seat this week. It looks so much more comfortable than the infant seat! I wish I had seen this pink one 🙂

So many changes! We lowered Louise's crib, too, but I just put it on the lowest one so I didn't have to do it again. #lazy We need to get her a new car seat, too! I will check this one out!

Movin’ On Up

On Saturday we made the big move in to the house! We had Mo, Cags, Chris, and Erin helping us out. Thanks guys! The poor husband was really sick, but he was a trooper and worked hard any way. So far I have unpacked the kitchen and am starting to work on the bathroom and bedroom. (Of course the first thing the boys did was hook up tv, cable, and play station!) We have so much stuff it is crazy. The previous owners took all of the window treatments, so my job is to try and get some pretty curtains up! I don’t want everyone seeing me in my pjs!

We are home! The husband did not like driving this big truck.
Don’t be fooled by that sunshine, it was freezing!

My man workin’.

After everyone left we went back to the condo to get the kitties. Pancake was so excited and wanted to explore every room. Henry wanted to take it slow and was a little skittish for a while. The boys seem to have adjusted a lot quicker than the last time we moved. Henry gets a little spooked from time to time, especially when he hears strange noises. Both boys love all of our windows and Pancake loves to run down the stairs…it is so cute.

Pancake loves to lay on the hardwood floors in the sunshine…you can tell he approves of our house!

Second try at this my first one didn’t print.?!
“We are home” brought tears to my eyes.
Pancake will start looking like his brother now that he is getting all that exercise running up and down the stairs.
May God Bless you as you start life in your new home.
