We started our summer off with a bang! And in the most fun and exciting way possible. Our family’s first ever visit to Michigan’s Adventure! It’s going to be hard to ever top this! It was our kid’s first theme park experience together and oh my word…they had the BEST DAY EVER. We had SO much fun teaming up with Michigan’s Adventure for the day, and for this post!
I didn’t tell the kids where we were going until that morning, otherwise they would have driven me nuts asking when we were going. Needless to say, when we arrived their little minds were blown. And they were PUMPED. Let’s do this!
Michigan’s Adventure is a family friendly amusement park located in Muskegon, Michigan, which was about an hour drive for us.
They have a wonderful selection of rides for kids (and adults!) of all ages, great food, tons of games and activities, and sights to see.
Hudson and Sadie could not believe we got to go somewhere so cool! I scored some major mom points that day.
It was also a big day because Hudson got to ride his first ever roller coaster! He loved Zach’s Zoomer so much I think we rode it about 8 times! It was so fun to see him be brave and enjoy something new and exciting. And Sadie loved watching us zoom by!
You don’t have to love roller coasters to love amusement parks – they have so much more to offer than just rides! I’ve never been to Michigan’s Adventure before, so I was unsure of what to expect….but I was so pleasantly surprised! It was so fun and family friendly. I was a little worried about Sadie because all of a sudden she’s become more cautious about things. But I was blown away with how many little kid friendly activities and rides there were for her!
Michigan’s Adventure is a family park, offering unique opportunities like Funland Farm, Half Pint Paradise, and kiddie rides making it the perfect choice for young families. Hudson couldn’t get enough of the rides! Most of these were ones that Sadie could ride too, but she choose not too….and she still had fun!
We finally convinced Sadie to try and ride…and she LOVED it! Her favorite ride was these cars you got to drive around….she thought it was SO cool! She also thought mommy was a terrible driver.
Another favorite was the train.
I think she had fun, what do you think?
But by far Sadie’s favorite part of our visit was Funland Farm. I think we spent about an hour there just loving on all of the animals. She was so cute with them!
Hudson enjoyed visiting the animals too…especially the camel and the bunnies!
The park was just so beautiful and peaceful…..and so easy to navigate, especially considering this was our first visit. The kids loved to stop and watch the ducks as we walked round the park.
Eventually we had to take a break for some cheeseburgers and a chocolate milkshake. As one does.
One of our favorite surprises was spotting Snoopy around the park! He’s a favorite in our house, so the kids were THRILLED to see him. They talked me in to getting a stuffed Snoopy to bring home too….and I couldn’t resist.
Seriously they had the best day ever, and are still talking about it and asking when we can go back. I guess that means we need a season pass! Season Passes are the best way to experience the park, allowing guests to visit Michigan’s Adventure and WildWater Adventure as many times as you want all season. The passes also include exclusive food and merchandise discounts, and Bring-A-Friend discounts on select days! Season passes are the best admission value that the park offers and they pay for themselves in less than three visits.
It’s going to be hard to live up to this epic day. We are already making plans to go back to visit the water park section of Michigan’s Adventure! Basically the park is two parks for the price of one with water park access included in the admission. Hudson’s already asking when we are going back!
It’s so nice having such a fun place to visit so close to home! Have you ever been to Michigan’s Adventure? I’d love to hear about it!
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Michigan’s Adventure.
Looks like so much fun!
My grandkids are 2,3 and 11. I never thought about getting a season pass. I will have to check into how many times we would have to go to make it worth it…what fun family memories for you and your kiddos!
It was a fun day and since it was early in the season, not crowded, YAY!!
We went there two years ago, and are surprising the kids with another trip this week! So excited!!! Pove that place
