5 on Friday

Linking up again today with some of my favorite ladies for 5 on Friday!
{One} We ordered this Chatham table and chairs from Pottery Barn….cannot wait for it to arrive so we can start enjoying some time outside. Our backyard is in desperate need of a makeover and this is one of the first steps!

{Two} Sometimes I strip Hudson down to just a diaper when I feed him so that he looks like my squishy little baby again. He is growing up so fast, but it doesn’t get much better than this.

{Three} I’ve tried and tried to like Greek yogurt and I just can’t stomach it. Tastes totally nasty to me. Can anyone recommend a yummy one?
{Four} Forget toys. Give this boy a remote, slipper, water bottle, or spatula and he’s happy as can be!
{Five} Pretty Little Liars is back for the summer and I am so excited! I’m really just a teenage girl stuck in an almost 30 year old’s body. But I do need another summer show to watch…..what are you watching this summer?

I found that pineapple greek yogurt was my gateway drug into greek yogurt. Something about the flavor, which I've never had in "regular" yogurt, seems to take the edge of the greek-ness of it.

I used to eat Chobani brand, but I've switched to the Meijer brand and it's probably even better.

great table! Also, I really only like having greek yogurt in a parfait style. I use plain yogurt (fage or our store brand – wegmans) add some blueberries or raisins, granola (love bear naked brand) and the secret ingredient, honey. Without honey its just not sweet enough for me to eat as yogurt.

Although I do sub greek yog for sour cream and barely notice a difference, so much healthier.

Try dressing up the Greek yogurt. I think it's gross by itself, but when I add a few spoonfuls of granola and berries, bam! There are also chobani "flip its", which are my new obsession. Some people like oikos better, too. Wow- I really know my yogurt. My daughter enjoys non-toys way more than any toy. Basically anything in the kitchen cabinets:) Enjoy the new patio set!

Try the Chobani bites! I've just recently discovered them and they're amazing! They are still Greek yogurt, but aren't as thick. Plus, they have more "dessert-ish" flavors, like raspberry and chocolate and pineapple and caramel! Plus, they're a lot smaller and less calories!

LOVE PLL! I'm a little embarrassed, but their fashion is just so much fun to look at!!

    Um that table is AMAZING!!

And for the Greek Yogurt – I have started buying the light and fit kind at CostCo. It has fruit on the bottom and once you mix it all up, it's pretty delicious. I like it much better than the chobani kind!

Seeing that picture of Hudson seriously makes me miss nursing so much. It was such a special time with my little guy!

I think the thing with greek yogurt is just trying to think of it in a category of it's own. If I compare it to other yogurts it's just not as good. I like chobani the best—pineapple and peach are my favorites. My husband likes the strawberry a lot.

    Happy weekend!

i LOVE your new patio set… can't wait to see your backyard makeover!

and i actually like greek yogurt… it was definitely an adjustment- but i like the strawberry best… and maybe try adding granola, fresh fruit, or honey?

Make sure you stir any flavor of greek yogurt really well. I think it helps with the weird texture!

I think The Greek Gods yogurt in honey is the best! It tastes like dessert! Also, I'm obsessed with Pretty Little Liars…. My husband makes fun of me so bad!

I don't care for greek yogurt either. Really, any yogurt. It's a texture thing for me. Ew.

Chubby sleeping Hudson is too cute for words.

My sister just got in to Pretty Little Liars on Netflix and she's obsessed. I'm tempted to check it out now. I could use some good, trashy teenage television in my life!

Plain Stoneyfield Greek yogurt mixed with honey and cinnamon. Then add fruit like raspberries. So delicious!

I don't like greek yogurt either. It's too thick for me, but I"m not a huge yogurt fan anyways so that may have something to do with it.

Love the new patio set, can't wait to see pictures of it in your backyard! Have a great weekend friend!

I've tried so many times to like greek yogurt… it just doesn't work! LOL

    I love Hudson's little arm rolls… SO CUTE! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Love that set from Pottery Barn – and I love how they staged it with the lanterns. The only Greek yogurt I like is at Safeway (not sure if you have one where you live) and it's called Greek God's and the flavor is vanilla and honey.

I love to have a nakey baby, too! They look so much younger!!

Try Fage yogurt with the honey, yum!! I like to add granola and clementines. Or, I mix the yogurt into a fruit smoothie!

Give Oiko's greek yogurt a try. I find it's a little sweeter than Chobani (though I believe it doesn't have additional sugar). I like greek yogurt but need to have it in moderation.

chobani has a cherry & dark chocolate greek yogurt that is super smooth (and has chocolate!). past that i majorly love the whole-foods brand ones (strawberry banana tastes like real yogurt and isnt all thick!). LOVE that backyard set, and sweet, sweet naked hudson!!

I love the Fage greek yogurt with honey- if you use enough honey you can't taste how tart the yogurt is. I'm so happy that PLL is back- if it makes you feel any better I pretty much love every show on ABC family and I'm 31 🙂

I'm totally a teenager in a 30 year old body:) I just started watching Pretty Little Liars (even worse, I bought the season on my Kindle). And I was devastated when they canceled 90210 and Gossip Girl was over, I guess we can say young at heart, right?!

I would recommend Greek Gods yogurt in honey. Amazing. I also use plain Greek yogurt as a sour cream substitute, since it is healthier. However, don't feel bad about not liking it. I know a lot of people who also can't stomach it. Good luck!

I've been trying to like Greek yogurt too. The only one I like is the Stoneyfield Honey. The honey makes it sweet enough and cuts out the weird greek yogurt taste
