Kid Friendly Green Smoothie

This post is sponsored by Greek Gods but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

Today I am so excited to share my kid friendly green smoothie recipe! Green smoothies have been life changing in our house! I have one child who is a picky eater and one sort of picky eater….and then one who eats pretty much anything. So insuring that all three of my kids get enough veggies in their diet is hard.

I started making a green smoothie when my oldest was a year old…..and he loved it so much that now six years later it has become a part of our daily routine. When my girls each turned one year old they asked for a green smoothie too….and we just have been non-stop ever since! My kids drink a green smoothie every morning at breakfast…..yes every morning!

Here is what you’ll need to make your own green smoothie:

Toss in your blender:
2 cups Frozen berries (I usually use strawberries)
Any other berries I need to use up like blueberries or black berries
2 fresh bananas
1 cup fresh baby spinach
1 cup Greek Gods® Greek-Style Yogurt
1 cup water or juice (I like to do half juice, half water)

Blend it all up!

This recipe makes about 4 servings. My three kids each drink one, and then either my husband or I drinks the fourth or I save it for the next day.

I don’t disguise the fact that the smoothie is green….my kids love it! They think the green color gives them super powers. And they’re kind of right! But if your kids wouldn’t touch a “green” smoothie, just add a little less spinach and think about tossing in some blueberries…..they hide the green color really well! Or toss it in a cup that they can’t see through.

Lately I’ve been using Greek Gods® Greek-Style Yogurt in our smoothies and just love the silky, smooth texture. Greek Gods® Greek-Style Yogurt has a delicious flavor without the traditional tartness you often find in a Greek yogurt. It is sweetened with Honey, which is the perfect combination of sweetness and flavor!

I’ve tasted the Honey Vanilla and Honey flavors and they are both so good. Greek Gods® Greek-Style Yogurt is also available in Honey Strawberry and Traditional Plain. You can find Greek Gods® Greek-Style Yogurt at your local Walmart in the dairy aisle in the bottom of the refrigerated well in the yogurt section. Click here to check the availability near you.

I have to admit to not really trying Greek Yoghurt, even though it is something I can eat on Keto – I need to give it a go! Sim x
