Now that I’m a mom, I spend a lot of time thinking about how to raise this special little boy that has brought so much joy to my life. I want him to be gracious, thankful, kind, and sincere….and an important part of that means being able to say thank you. I want Hudson to learn the importance of the thank you note from an early age. It’s such a simple gesture but it can really mean a lot.
Do you know what makes writing a thank you note more fun? When the notes
you use are cute and personalized! I received these beautiful thank you
notes for Hudson from Tiny Prints. And let me just say this….I LOVE THEM!
I knew the notes would be perfect because Hudson’s birth announcements from Tiny Prints were beyond adorable. You can read about them here….they are still one of my favorite things. Was he ever that small? Time is flying!
Tiny Prints has an amazing selection of thank you notes….I seriously had the hardest time picking just one! Hudson thought long and hard about what he would write in his thank you note.
I’m excited to start teaching him the importance of saying thank you and being grateful.
As a kid I remember the thrill of receiving something in the mail addressed to me….actually it still brings me joy! I love getting mail, don’t you?
I love these sweet notes with Hudson’s name on them. You can find them here. Do you love getting a note in the mail? Do you have a go-to personalized stationary?
I love shopping for stationary! Avery has a personalized set as well. I love getting Thank You's and always write them, even for the smallest gestures. Happy Monday!
I cannot believe how big H is getting!!! Writing his own thank you notes already? He'll be driving a tricycle in no time. 🙂
I think thank you notes are a forgotten art and love that you are going to teach Hudson right from the early ages of their importance. I plan on doing the same for my little one. And I agree, who doesn't loooooove getting mail that isn't junk or bills?!

I swoon over cute stationary constantly… And I'm swooning over your cute little guy too!
I am a SPAZ about Thank You cards and stationery in general! I think a hand written note is such a lost art. Kenley will DEFINITELY be raised to send thanks yous. 🙂
yes & yes to everything you posted!! It is so important to teach our kids these values! Hudson is too friggen cute!! He is getting so big!!
I LOVE this post! I TOTALLY agree! I am constantly writing cards/thank you notes and just think they are the sweetest gesture. And these are so cute! (Just like your little man!).
So sweet! I remember in the 3rd grade a boy that had a crush on me gave me a box of chocolates. My mom made me write a thank you note to him! I thought it was the worst thing ever, but now I LOVE writing thank you notes!
These thank you notes are adorable! I'm all about the thank you notes too and I hope my daughter takes after me as well. I never thought of doing personalized ones, what a great idea! I'm gonna have to jump on that!

Geez your kid is advanced… I mean some of my 14 year old students cant even write with a pen yet 😉 I think he is right on track for being thankful, sincere and gracious for such a wonderful mom 😉

OMG He is such a little love and I love those cards! 🙂
Those thank you notes and announcements are BEAUTIFUL! I love them!!!
Adorable Thank you Notes and I definitely agree with you about the importance of teaching our little guys about how to be thankful!! Hudson could not be any cuter in these pictures, he's obviously already such a thoughtful guy helping his Mama!!
So cute!! 🙂
I love getting mail, and ALWAYS write Thank You notes. It has always been appreciated, even as a childn.
So sweet! I love these! 🙂
Those thank you notes are so so cute.. love all the colors. And couldn't agree with you more on the importance of instilling gratitude and sincerity, no matter how old they are!
Those cards are super cute! And what a great quality to instill in your son. It is never to early to teach kids about being appreciative, and so refreshing to see people still do that 🙂
The photo of H "reading" the note made my day…..he is just too CUTE!!
ahh how adorable!! i love the thank you card you picked up and i definitely love getting a note in the mail considering how rare they seem to be nowadays, nothing makes my day like a note in the mail!
i always give thank you notes too! they go far w people and can mean so much. one family i know with their children, for any gift they don't send a thank you note for, they have to return to the giver. i thought that was a nice little lesson in being thankful and grateful for something. i think i'll do it too.
He looks so adorable as he's learning what writing a thank you note is all about. Great job Julie.
Very cute post- I love the thank you cards as well! You are doing a great job and are already a amazing mommy 🙂
