I’m sensing a theme here….

photo IMG_8643copy.jpgWe had a nice little weekend over here. Filled with lots of laughs, oreo eating, and playing outside. And lots of pee. The theme for the weekend was officially “mommy cleans up a lot of pee”….and it had nothing to do with potty training….because we are totally not ready for that mess. Hudson peed through his diaper at bedtime twice over the weekend and even managed to soak his pillow. How that happened I may never know. And one of our cats peed on Hudson’s pottery barn anywhere chair. Which. Gross. And super hard to clean.
So that was fun.

photo IMG_8690.jpgBesides all the pee, we still managed to squeeze in some fun. But taking a photo with a two year old squirmy boy is darn near impossible.
photo IMG_8688copy.jpgBe still my heart. This one’s going in the wedding slide show. My husband took Hudson to get his hair cut on Friday and I can’t get over how much older he looks. He is going to be going off to college and getting married before I know it. Time, please slow down.

In other news, toddler emotions are like a roller coaster.

Being two is SO hard….seriously. I hear ya, Hudson. But those haircuts make them look sooooo cute…

Cam has been peeing through is diaper, too!! We switched from Huggies to Pampers just to see, and so far, so good. (It could also be totally coincidental. Who knows.)

I hope you have a great week (free of pee)!!!

Ah! He's the CUTEST!! I love these!!

Ugh. Our anywhere chair bit the dust due to kitty pee. Kitty goes bonkers when I'm pregnant- and she took her aggression out on the chair. Not a happy camper.

Whoa, he looks too grown up in these photos! But oh SO CUTE!!
I wake up to a pee soaked Mia because anytime she gets a new cup, she is obsessed and has to drink all the water in it! My sweet husband keeps giving her the new cup of water (she got a couple new cups last week) right before bed and she chugs that water down. Ugh! He needs to start filling it a quarter of the way full and call it good, HA!

Oh no! I had a day recently when Hallie peed while I was changing her diaper and it got everywhere….twice in a row! Fun! Glad the rest of your weekend was enjoyable!

Oh my gosh, are you right – toddler emotions are a TOTAL roller coaster. Sometimes, I don't even know what Caleb is crying about. And I don't think he does either. Hudson looks so handsome, and SO grown up, with his new haircut. Adorable. And boo to cat pee. Our cat has been peeing in my husband's sink in our double vanity. Never mine. Just his. We can't figure out why in the world he keeps doing this. Although, I will say, the sink is a lot easier to clean than a chair.

Aww sweet Hudson! Life is so rough! ;). Aside from all the peeing going on it sounds like a good weekend! Lol!

Oh man… my weekend looked a lot like that! Minus the pee. Because we don't have cats. But the emotions! Oh the emotions of a two year old. God forbid you ask them if they want milk in the morning. All. Hell. Breaks. Loose. But then you wait 5 minutes and they are all smiles again! 🙂

Cat pee is the worrrrst smell and it's so tricky to get out. I feel for yah!
We have kinda sorta started potty training our two yr old but every night she has been leaking through her diaper like craaaazy! We have stopped giving her liquids after dinner but I swear she saves up all of that pee at night. We have to do a lot of bed changes in the wee hours of the night.

That picture of his new haircut is THE cutest! 🙂 My little man managed to get his diaper off during his nap yesterday and he peed all over EVERYTHING in his crib. Yuck. So I feel ya on the pee clean up!

That's the worst about his chair! Try soaking the cover and the foam (separately) with Nature's Miracle, then washing the cover in the washing machine. It's the only product I've found that can save things ruined by cat pee!

It really is true when they say the days are long It really is true when they say the days are long but the years are short. One day I’m struggling to carry two babies at a time while wrangling a toddler and then next minute they are all off to school and practices and friends’ houses. With all three kids in school we’ve been thinking a lot about their futures and how we are going to one day pay for college. We set up a Michigan Education Trust 529 plan for each of our kids when they were babies and I am SO happy we did! With a MET account, we can pay for future college tuition at today’s prices. With MET’s discounted age-based pricing the earlier you start, the more you are able to save! Plus grandparents and other loved ones can contribute to my kids’ accounts too! With MET you get back what you put in if your child chooses a different path and the money goes with you if your child goes to school out of state. You can even transfer it to immediate family members and all contributions to MET plans are tax deductible! To learn more about how to set up a MET account and the benefits of starting your child’s account early, check out my stories or the link in my bio. @mieducationtrust #sponsored #SETwithMET #MI529 #collegesavings #METSept2023
