How to enjoy a snow day

One of few the perks of living in Michigan is having a snow day! We are on snow day number two around here and I couldn’t be happier! But….it’s crazy cold outside (-6 this morning!) and the roads are crazy scary….so staying inside is a must!
To properly enjoy your snow day you need a cute mug full of hot chocolate and LOTS of marshmallows.
Second, you need a good movie to watch.

And finally, you need the world’s coziest blanket to hide under all day.

If you need me, you know where I’ll be!

How are you enjoying the winter in MI!? We haven't had one like this in years! I went home to Detroit to visit over Christmas and it was so great to see the snow but I was def ready to get back to FLA…although it was 19 degrees here this morning. Snow days were my favorite! Enjoy snuggling up with your little man!

Thank you for reminding me about Safe Haven! I want to watch it again. It's 18 in SC today and we had school delays. We're totally not used to the cold! 🙂

A snow day sounds lovely! I have 2/3 of three of the requirements (minus the actual SNOW!) Gotta get my hands on that blanket!

I spent yesterday planning and blogging my little guy's nursery ideas, today cleaning out every kitchen cabinet and drawer, so I think I'll take some advice and go find these 3 items. What a gorgeous blanket, too! We can't have nice things like that, just lookalikes that the dogs can claim:(

    Back to school tomorrow!

Boston warmed up to 10* this morning but we are still under the covers. The baby fell asleep in my arms and the extra body heat is nice so we won't be moving for a while 🙂 If only I had someone to bring me more tea!
