Second children…..they sometimes get the short end of the stick. When Hudson was one, our lives revolved around his schedule. And they still do! We were always home at nap time, ate meals at the same time, and never skipped a bath. But once you have that second child all of that goes out the window. Your second child has to play by the rules of your first…and learn to go with the flow.
Thankfully Sadie is pretty easy going…except when it comes to nap time and bed time. I’ve been really lucky to have my mom and my mother-in-law close by to step in and help out when I need to chauffer Hudson around from activity to activity. But sometimes it’s just us and we have got to adjust as we go!
We recently discovered some super cute Little Tikes toys that help Sadie conquer milestones…even when life gets busy!
Little Tikes line of toys help address baby’s specific developmental needs while also soothing, stimulating and strengthening. The jittery Hide ‘n Seek Hermie is great for eye tracking, it hides while she seeks! They are just what Sadie need to help keep her occupied and happy while we are rushing off to Hudson’s activities. And they help me play an active role in helping Sadie reach her key developmental milestones.
And having a big brother to teach her the ropes helps a little too. Or distracts. Can you guess where Hudson is hiding?
Stinkers. You can find Little Tikes Shake ‘n Rattle Crabbie Ring, Hide ‘n Seek Hermie, and Soothe ‘n Spin Octopus at Target.
Isn’t this Little Tikes Soothe ‘n Spin Octopus cute? I might need to get it for baby #3! It helps calm baby while the dangling toys provide her with even more ways to play. Love!
It's amazing how different life is from baby 1 to 2. Those second children have to know how to go with it. My girl is a sassy thing and doesn't always go with the flow, but that's alright. Ha ha! Cute toys! Great gift idea.
Sadie is so sweet! The picture of her leaning over the chair is my favorite.
