Free and Very Brave

Hudson wanted me to point out that he’s both free AND brave.
Ain’t that the truth. Maybe a little too brave.
Why can’t three day weekends happen a little more often? Like….every week or so?
We spent the weekend trying to stay cool (it got HOT and HUMID) and taking care of this little lady. She has been very brave. Sadie’s fine…but she’s put us through the ringer with some health concerns for the past several weeks. I totally don’t mean to be vague, but it’s been very overwhelming for us. I’ll share details soon…I think…I’m not sure. I’m still traumatized. But she could sure use some prayers for GOOD news from the doctor this week. Thanks friends! And happy Tuesday!
p.s….please bear with me as I have three sponsored posts this week. Sadie’s health issue really put a damper on my blog schedule, and I apologize in advance. Thank you for your continued support and a HUGE thank you to those of you who leave comments on sponsored posts! I only promote things that I love and I know you will too.

It really is true when they say the days are long It really is true when they say the days are long but the years are short. One day I’m struggling to carry two babies at a time while wrangling a toddler and then next minute they are all off to school and practices and friends’ houses. With all three kids in school we’ve been thinking a lot about their futures and how we are going to one day pay for college. We set up a Michigan Education Trust 529 plan for each of our kids when they were babies and I am SO happy we did! With a MET account, we can pay for future college tuition at today’s prices. With MET’s discounted age-based pricing the earlier you start, the more you are able to save! Plus grandparents and other loved ones can contribute to my kids’ accounts too! With MET you get back what you put in if your child chooses a different path and the money goes with you if your child goes to school out of state. You can even transfer it to immediate family members and all contributions to MET plans are tax deductible! To learn more about how to set up a MET account and the benefits of starting your child’s account early, check out my stories or the link in my bio. @mieducationtrust #sponsored #SETwithMET #MI529 #collegesavings #METSept2023

Calling all girl moms! Talking to my girls about p Calling all girl moms! Talking to my girls about puberty and their bodies has always been important to me. I want my girls to know they can always come to me with any question and that we can learn and talk about our bodies together. Being a girl is amazing and wonderful but bizarre at the same time! That’s why I’m so excited to share Girlology with you! Girlology is an age-appropriate video subscription made by doctors and real moms to help moms and their daughters talk about everything from bra-shopping to periods. And SO much more. I love watching the short bite-size videos with Sadie. Girlology has grade-level playlists and videos for every age and stage, whether your daughter is in 3rd grade, like mine, and just getting ready for puberty all the way through the teen years. Girlology helps parents feel confident and ready to talk about body changes with their daughters and 96% of Girlology girls report they are less anxious asking questions about their body!
