The final five

In five days I will be married woman. How weird is that? As I write I am surrounded by wedding stuff…it has taken over the entire condo. Luckily I have had not only my mom, but also my grandma, out here the past few days helping me prepare. Mostly they have been working on wedding stuff while I have gone to my big girl job to escape it all. I am so grateful for all of their hard work! There is still so much to do but I feel like they have tackled many of the big projects! I have the rest of the week off of work to prepare myself for marriage….and to run errands, make schedules, pack for the honeymoon, and pick up my friends from the airport!

I wanted to share some photos of the condo, but right now it looks like wedding threw up on it. So instead I’ll leave you with some cute faces to tide you over.

Glad you had time for a blog note..I enjoy them. I think about you all the time….I know you are very busy but as I always tell you enjoy this special time in your life. If you can believe it I still remember the week before my wedding. Yesterday the biggest package ever arrived for you & Jon. I think it will take up the whole car when we bring it Friday. Can't wait to see you.

It really is true when they say the days are long It really is true when they say the days are long but the years are short. One day I’m struggling to carry two babies at a time while wrangling a toddler and then next minute they are all off to school and practices and friends’ houses. With all three kids in school we’ve been thinking a lot about their futures and how we are going to one day pay for college. We set up a Michigan Education Trust 529 plan for each of our kids when they were babies and I am SO happy we did! With a MET account, we can pay for future college tuition at today’s prices. With MET’s discounted age-based pricing the earlier you start, the more you are able to save! Plus grandparents and other loved ones can contribute to my kids’ accounts too! With MET you get back what you put in if your child chooses a different path and the money goes with you if your child goes to school out of state. You can even transfer it to immediate family members and all contributions to MET plans are tax deductible! To learn more about how to set up a MET account and the benefits of starting your child’s account early, check out my stories or the link in my bio. @mieducationtrust #sponsored #SETwithMET #MI529 #collegesavings #METSept2023
