Easter Basket Ideas for Girls

Easter seems so late this year….which means we have plenty of time to plan out our kid’s Easter baskets, right? Act now before all the good stuff sells out! Here’s a look into what I’m picking up for the girls baskets this year…..I mean, what the Easter Bunny is picking up. Stay tuned later this week for my boy basket ideas!

  1. Rainbow purse. Isn’t this darling? Sadie is going to LOVE it.
  2. Pink Jellycat bunny. Jellycat makes the BEST bunnies ever. Hands down. Plus it’s pink!
  3. Peep scented nail polish. I mean. Both girls are going to freak out over this stuff.
  4. Blush pink jelly sandals. We pick up a pair, or two, of these jelly sandals every year. They are my girl’s favorites!
  5. Princess Lip Smackers. These are going to be a big hit in my house!
  6. Heart sunnies. Plus they have rainbow lenses. What’s not to love? These arrived in the mail the other day and are darling in person.
  7. Kwik Stix. We LOVE these in our house. They are paint sticks without all the mess of actual paint. All three of my kids use these weekly.
  8. Pete the Cat is always a big hit in our house, and this book is no exception.
  9. Unicorn swim suit. I love to give the kids a new swim suit for Easter each year. I got both of the girls this suit…they are going to be so excited!
  10. Kitty purse. Sadie got this for Valentine’s Day and she loves it so much! Belle was a little jealous so I grabbed one for her basket this year so they can match!
  11. Rainbow pjs. Aren’t these the cutest?
  12. Bath Bombs. The kids got these in their Christmas stockings and they were a huge hit and didn’t leave behind a giant mess!
  13. Paint by sticker book. We have a few of these and they are so fun! Perfect for restaurants, rainy days, or even a quite church activity.
  14. Easter basket. I invested in these baskets for the kids and they really are the best. They are super sturdy, adorable, and will last them until they are all grown up!

#ad It’s that time of year! Time to make sure yo #ad It’s that time of year! Time to make sure your child is up to date on their well-child visits and vaccines! As the chief advocate for my kids, I always want to make decisions that are the best for them and for our family. There isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for these little loves of mine, and I know all of you can relate! That is why I vaccinate my kids. Vaccinating your child is one of the safest and most effective things you can do to protect them against serious preventable diseases. If you live in Michigan like we do, it’s time to schedule that well-child visit and make sure your kids are up to date on their vaccinations! I’ve done a lot of research and talked to our pediatrician at length about what is best for my family and I would encourage you to do so too. It’s normal to have questions—it makes you a good parent! But make sure you are getting answers from credible sources. Remember, vaccines are safe, effective, and help protect everyone. Ultimately I decided to vaccinate my children because not doing so puts them at risk of contracting a potentially deadly disease. I want the best for my kids. If you have questions or need a reliable resource, check out @IVaccinateMI for information and tools based on real medical science and research to help Michigan parents protect their kids from vaccine-preventable diseases.
