Book Fail

Yesterday I started reading a new book that I picked up from the library. After reading for a while things started to feel….well, familiar. About three chapters in I realized….I’ve read this book before. Yikes….does this mean I’m getting old? I’m only in my twenties!!!!

Major book fail. So now I need something new to read…..any suggestions? I’ve read all of Nicholas Sparks’ and Emily Giffin’s books and loved them…and I’m a big fan of Jodi Picoult and Dan Brown. So, readers, have you read anything lately that was really good? I need some book love asap!

That happens to me all the time! They change the cover art and it tricks me! I have been reading a lot of Jane Green & Marian Keyes. They are quick reads, but interesting stories.

Are you on Goodreads?? Cause you totally should be! Then I can just direct you to my bookshelf of "read" books for all of my recent reads… there are tons of them!

You should try Sophie Kinsella. She does the Shopaholic series and it was surprisingly good. I enjoyed it so much i read the whole series in a week. ha ha let us know what you think if you read it.

Hi. I hope it's not too weird I'm writing. I find your blog really nice! I'm a law student in Philadelphia so I just love reading about things that take me away ^^. I hope I can contribute to your inquiry. For just a really fun, YA/Fantasy read, I recommend: The Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare. Ms. Clare wrote an amazing Harry Potter fanfiction back in the day that propelled her to quite some fame in the fandom community. Her writing is amazing and has that *swoon* quality of being young and in love, off on an adventure. Another fun YA/chick lit/fantasy is A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray. I'm a huge fan of historical fiction, so I recommend anything by Philippa Gregory (of The Other Boleyn Girl fame) and Tracy Chevalier (who wrote Girl with a Pearl Earring!). I'd be thrilled to know your thoughts if you read anything 🙂

Oh I love to read and I procrastinate school stuff to read.

Books like Emily Giffin: Authors Jennifer Weiner, Sophie Kinsella (her non shopaholic books are the best), Beth Harbison, Alisa Valdes.

Dan Brown like books: James Rollins. They are scientific, mysterious, and government.

I also like the books by JD Robb.
