5 on Friday

THE GOOD LIFE BLOG
Yay for Friday! It’s time to link up with my favorite ladies for 5 on Friday!
{one} The Gap has some seriously cute stuff for little boys this fall. Whoever said dressing boys wasn’t fun sure hasn’t seen this collection. I. Am. Obsessed.

{two} I recently rearranged my bracelets and watches using some of my milk glass collection and love how it turned out! Everything is much easier to find now.

{three} Next to Target, Costco is my happy place. There is just something about buying in bulk that speaks to me. However, spending over $100 on each visit does not speak to me.
{four} I learned an important lesson at Hudson’s swim lessons this week. Do not place a wet-just-out-of-the-pool baby on your lap. Even if he’s wrapped in a towel. You will look like you peed your pants. My husband made me go shoe shopping with him looking like this. Classy.
{five} This bag is calling my name. I only wish it was calling me from a lower price point.

Oh man, I also learned now to put a swim diaper on Cam too soon before swim lessons because they don't hold much! I got a nice wet bathing suit BEFORE we got in the pool.

I cannot wait to start shopping for Cameron's fall clothes!! I guess it's time to pay off my GAP card so I can max it out again!! Haha

    Have a great weekend!

You are so brilliant to organize your jewelry that way! It's functional, cost efficient (since you owned it already!) and so pretty too! I love it 🙂

I'm a huge fan of Costco too but always over shop! We love the pizza 🙂 And O loves the frozen yogurt!

Love your jewelry organization…milk glass is my very fave! Second on the list? Costco. I can't get out of there without spending over $100 either. But I usually leave full from all the samples…so that helps, right?! Have a great weekend, lady!

It really is true when they say the days are long It really is true when they say the days are long but the years are short. One day I’m struggling to carry two babies at a time while wrangling a toddler and then next minute they are all off to school and practices and friends’ houses. With all three kids in school we’ve been thinking a lot about their futures and how we are going to one day pay for college. We set up a Michigan Education Trust 529 plan for each of our kids when they were babies and I am SO happy we did! With a MET account, we can pay for future college tuition at today’s prices. With MET’s discounted age-based pricing the earlier you start, the more you are able to save! Plus grandparents and other loved ones can contribute to my kids’ accounts too! With MET you get back what you put in if your child chooses a different path and the money goes with you if your child goes to school out of state. You can even transfer it to immediate family members and all contributions to MET plans are tax deductible! To learn more about how to set up a MET account and the benefits of starting your child’s account early, check out my stories or the link in my bio. @mieducationtrust #sponsored #SETwithMET #MI529 #collegesavings #METSept2023
