5 on Friday

Three cheers for Friday! I’m so glad it’s finally almost the weekend! As usual I’m linking up with the lovely ladies of The Good Life, A. Liz Adventures, Carolina Charm, and Hello Happiness for 5 on Friday…and you should too!

{one} Citrus Lane does it again! We got an awesome box this month! Hudson gets so excited when he sees he got something in the mail…and I do to. This box was for sure one of our favorites! This month Hudson got this adorable puzzle by Petit Collage. I aged Hudson up by about 6 months in Citrus Lane’s system, so he is a little bit on the young side for this…but that doesn’t mean he didn’t LOVE it. Even though it’s a little hard for him, this is his absolute most favorite puzzle right now. I hadn’t even heard of this company before, so I’m so glad Citrus Lane introduced us!

Hudson played with this puzzle for so long…and it’s super cute! He also got two containers of eco-dough from Eco Kids. There was a major meltdown in our house when it was time to put this play dough away. I love that it’s made from natural materials and Hudson just loves that he gets to play with it! Also in our box was a MediBuddy first aid kit that I was thrilled to have! It’s filled with lots of stuff that will come in handy with a busy toddler…I’m adding it to our diaper bag and it’s super cute! Want to know a fun fact about me? I hate lotion…especially on my hands. My skin really needs it this time a year so I was happy to see the bottle of Weleda Hydrating Body Lotion in our box. It’s super lightweight and smells good. If you want to try out Citrus Lane (and I totally recommend that you do…and they aren’t paying me to say that! I just love them!) click here for 50% off your first box and free shipping!

{two} Frozen came in the mail on Tuesday and we haven’t stopped watching it (or reading the case like a book) since. In love.

{three} This has officially been the LONGEST winter I’ve ever experienced. On Wednesday it was rainy and cold so I did what I swore I would never do…..took Hudson to the mall to play on the big breakfast food. There was hardly anyone there and he had a blast! He would play for a while and then check to see if I was watching him. Then he’d flash a huge smile and run full force to me to give me a hug. That boy has my heart. And big bacon and big banana for the win!

{four} Divergent is out today! I don’t have plans to see it yet…but I might need to change that asap! I loved the book and love that Shailene Woodley is playing Tris. Are you planning to see it?

{five} Personal Creations sent me these beautiful personalized stemless wine glasses and I’ve been enjoying them all week. These glasses are perfection and would make a perfect engagement or wedding gift for someone! I’ve been wanting some stemless glasses for forever now…since I have a tendency to break all of our other glasses with stems. Luckily, these are pretty AND sturdy and will be perfect for a klutz like me.  Now bring on the wine!

    Happy Weekend!

I got Frozen this week too (but I don't have a little one at home, it was just for my own enjoyment). And I'm planning on going to see Divergent next weekend with some girlfriends. The trailer looks good, but I think Four is too old. Have a great weekend!

Definitely handy during this long winter! And yes I will definitely be seeing divergent! Going next week with my moms club!

The huge banana slide is cracking me up! Our malls have hygiene products… it's not nearly as cute to see him sliding down water coming out of a faucet as it is giant breakfast food ๐Ÿ˜‰

And I totally agree, Citrus Lane killed it this month! We got our box yesterday and my son loooooooves it.

THE GOOD LIFE BLOG

High five for Friday! Today I’m linking up with the lovely ladies of The Good Life, Carolina Charm, A. Liz Adventures, and Hello Happiness and you should too! Let’s get this party started…
{one} After a solid month of 15 degree temperatures it finally warmed up to 40 degrees so that we could play outside in ALL THE SNOW. And the term “warm” is totally relative….40 degrees for this California girl is still freakin’ cold. The things I do for my boys.

{two} I never really paid any attention to Duck Dynasty….but recently my husband started watching it and oh my word…it’s ridiculous. But I can’t stop watching.

{three} Remember when a group of us mama bloggers linked up for a Secret Santa gift swap and then again for a Valentine’s Day swap? Well, we are back at it again for St. Patrick’s Day….but this time we want you to join in on the fun! This time around we are doing a themed recipe linkup and recipe swap! This is a great chance to connect with other bloggers! We will post more details on March 3rd, so stay tuned!

{four} Valentine’s Day may be over, but I’m still feelin’ the love….and I think I need one of these love pillows in my life!
{five} Yesterday I talked about the YES TO Great Love campaign I’m so proud to be a part of. And I let you see what I look like without makeup…yikes! Check out their awesome giveaway here.
