This is the best shot we got. I kinda like the crying one better!
{two} Snow gear and a toddler are exhausting. So. Many. Layers. And Hudson could barely move. But, since it was finally above 25 degrees we let him romp around as best he could in the snow for a while the other day. He LOVED it.
{three} I caught a nasty stomach bug and was sick for three days. Want to know a what’s a good idea for the holidays? Get sick, loose 5 pounds, get better, then eat 5 pounds of Christmas cookies. I call that winning.
Happy Friday! P.S. do you love Starbucks? Then don’t forget to enter the Starbucks giveaway!
That fire ladder is a great idea! Every year at Christmas my parents always got us something practical like that and wrote, from: Safety Santa. I used to get mase for my key chain every year! HAHA! Merry Christmas and enjoy your sweet baby. BTW, does any kid love sitting on Santa ;-)?
I'm sorry you were sick, but I think making up for five lost pounds with Christmas cookies is genius 🙂 Our visit to Santa wasn't a happy one, either!
A fire escape ladder is a great idea. Practical, but safety is very important to me too! Hudson looks so happy in the snow!
Love that first pic! Hope you are feeling better! :o)
Glad you are feeling better and get to eat unlimited amounts of cookies! Hudson and Santa – omg, hilarious and adorable! Merry Christmas Julie!!! xo
I love that you are asking for fire safety ladders for Christmas. You crack me up! (But honestly, it is a good idea to have them). And the pictures of Hudson are too cute. I think I agree – the crying one is awesome:) Hope you have a very Merry Christmas, sweet friend!
Mike gave me a safety ladder last Christmas!! I'm dying laughing- I definitely didn't ask for one 😉 and I clearly need the flu to aid in weight loss– Christmas cookies are totally worth it! In love with Hudson's crying Santa picture! Crying ones are fully the best!!
We had one of those ladders when I was growing up and I remember doing a "drill" one day and seeing how long it would take us to get the ladder in the window. Thankfully my dad didn't make us climb down it too!
Glad you are feeling better and that Hudson had fun in the snow! Have a Very Merry Christmas!
That's totally the same kind of thing I think about in the middle of the night too…fire alarms, disaster preparedness kits, family disaster plans, etc. Definitely doesn't help me sleep better!
I love seeing Hudson in the snow. I bet it is super super exhausting getting him dressed, and then undressed with all those layers.
I hope you're feeling all better, friend!!
Love the santa pics & those antlers! Happy holidays lady! XO
That's too funny about the fire escape ladder… that's what I asked for for Christmas too:) My family thinks I'm crazy but I'm so paranoid about those things. Just found your blog and really enjoy reading it:) Have a Merry Christmas
Isn't Santa swell? LOL. Great picture. We are taking Madeline this weekend to get hers done. Is it wrong of me that I'm hoping for a crying like crazy picture? I know, parent of the year right here. Merry Christmas!!
What snow shoes do you have for Hudson?! Love seeing him all bundled up!!
YES, the antlers! They are simply amazing!
Hudson and Santa – too cute!
I'm so with you on the fire ladder. I wanted one for my office on the sixth floor of the building but it seems that six story fire ladders are a wee bit pricey… 🙂
Merry Christmas!
Hudson crying with Santa is classic! lol
I totally bought those antlers last week and hung them in our playroom. I love them!
I'm kind of expecting the same turnout with our Santa meeting this weekend! 🙂 And I'm laughing about your Christmas list including fire safety items, but totally thinking maybe we should get a couple of those too! That's something you definitely don't want to wish you had when it comes down to time you need it!
The crying Santa pictures is the best. No childhood is complete until it has a crying Santa picture in it! 😉
Mason totally cried last year with Santa and we thought he would do the same this year but he nailed his Santa time and even smiled! I love that you asked for a ladder – those things keep me up at night as well… fires, tornados, zombies. I'll have to add an escape ladder to my list. Merry Christmas!
Love the santa pic and REALLY good idea on the fire safety ladders!! We just moved and need those for sure!
I love Hudson's coat – we have the same one for Charlie – love CostCo!
Those antlers would be perfect on any wall in my house (if I had one that is). Your little babe looks adorable all bundled up. I hope you and yours had a very Merry Christmas!
