34 Weeks

Photobucket
How far along? 34 weeks. They say that newborn babies can recognize their mama’s singing voice if she sings to them while still pregnant. But I’m not sure baby boy wants to here his mama sing off key! Anyway, it is crazy how fast this pregnancy is going. It seemed like it took forever for me to get to 12 weeks….and now it’s just flying by.
Maternity clothes? Still a mix of maternity and non-maternity.
Stretch marks? Nope.
Sleep: Sometimes it’s good and sometimes it’s not so great. I am starting to wake up with some mild hip and back pain.
Best moment this week: Antiquing with my mom over the weekend and my work shower on Monday! Oh, and finding out that baby boy is head down at my doctor’s appointment this week. Let’s hope he stays that way.
Miss Anything? Not really.

Movement: Yes! And I’ve been feeling baby boy’s hiccups this week too….so cute.
Food cravings: Anything cold! Strawberries, lemonade, ice cream, and iced tea.

Anything making you queasy or sick: No.

Gender: Baby boy

 Labor Signs: None.

Symptoms: My fingers and toes swell when I get hot….and some mild back pain. I am so thankful that I’ve had a really easy pregnancy so far.

Belly Button in or out? Still in….but it’s totally flat.

Wedding rings on or off? On

Mood: Happy and overwhelmed still…..my kitchen is a total disaster zone. The painting should be finished today so hopefully I can get everything back together soon. I’m so glad we are doing this before the baby is born. To all my pregnant or soon-to-be-pregnant friends…do your house projects NOW!

Looking forward to: The husband’s work baby shower today and getting some stuff done in the nursery this weekend. I’m a big time procrastinator so we have a ton left to do!

Lookin good momma!! You are almost there!! 🙂 That's nice that your hubby's work is having a shower for you too- so sweet!

I would be a little stressed about a big kitchen/house project too. I'm sure it will all get finished, but nothing like waiting 'til the last minute 😉

You are doing so great! I was the same way. We didn't have O's nursery done until 37 weeks and then I delivered at 38! I know exactly what you mean about the singing. I am so not a singer, and my son loves for me to sing to him now! Poor guy! Ha Happy Thursday!!

You are gorgeous! Pregnancy really looks great on you.

Baby hiccups are my favorite things to feel, too. They are so adorable. Luckily, during our last ultrasound, hubby and I were able to see and hear the hiccups, too! Such a cute thing.

Good luck on finishing your kitchen. All this hard work will be worth it! Have a great time at the baby shower.

Ugh, I'm a big procrastinator too. 37 weeks down and the nursery is STILL unfinished, eek!

    You're looking fantastic!

I would second the 'get house stuff done before baby' comment. We just moved with a 4 month old and house projects are much less fun and much more tedious!

Oh my goodness you look absolutely gorgeous! I am at 35 weeks right now and our nursery is just NOW getting done! (Only thing I'm waiting on is the glider, and to put some more pic's in my empty frames … I'm sure Noah will notice the random family that is not his. Haha!) I can 100% relate to the pregnancy dragging along in the beginning … I felt like I was pregnant FOREVER … and now I swear it's just flying right by me! Im kinda sad. But I am SUPER excited to see my little man soon!!! Love following your posts and updates, I'm anxious to see how the last few weeks of your pregnancy go. Congrats mama!

Your pregnancy is flying by. Next week starts the month of August! I don't think baby R would want to hear his Auntie sing either. 🙂

You look so adorable! Your belly is just perfect 🙂 And I'm such a procrastinator too!! Luckily, having my 2-yr old is helping me get more things done for baby brother — ironically. So glad you are feeling well! It won't be long now, I agree it flies by at the end!! 🙂

It really is true when they say the days are long It really is true when they say the days are long but the years are short. One day I’m struggling to carry two babies at a time while wrangling a toddler and then next minute they are all off to school and practices and friends’ houses. With all three kids in school we’ve been thinking a lot about their futures and how we are going to one day pay for college. We set up a Michigan Education Trust 529 plan for each of our kids when they were babies and I am SO happy we did! With a MET account, we can pay for future college tuition at today’s prices. With MET’s discounted age-based pricing the earlier you start, the more you are able to save! Plus grandparents and other loved ones can contribute to my kids’ accounts too! With MET you get back what you put in if your child chooses a different path and the money goes with you if your child goes to school out of state. You can even transfer it to immediate family members and all contributions to MET plans are tax deductible! To learn more about how to set up a MET account and the benefits of starting your child’s account early, check out my stories or the link in my bio. @mieducationtrust #sponsored #SETwithMET #MI529 #collegesavings #METSept2023
