32 Weeks

How far along? 32 weeks!

Maternity clothes? Yep, basically everything is maternity these days.
Stretch marks? Nope, thank goodness.
Sleep: I’m up 2-4 times each night to use the bathroom. And last night I had a late night meeting and didn’t get to bed until 11…and then Hudson woke up crying at 3:30 and needed mommy. So I’m a bit tired today!
Best moment this week: Getting the baby’s room painted! My father-in-law and my husband busted it out in a few hours. And we took apart the crib, moved it out of Hudson’s room, and put it back together again. So it’s all starting to come together…sort of!
Miss Anything? Still just sleep. And being able to bend over comfortably.
Movement: Still lots of movement! My doctor can’t tell for sure if baby is head down…it seems he or she is kind of sideways, which is also making me measure about a week ahead. Hopefully baby moves to head down soon!
Food cravings: Strawberries, grapes, black berries and juice! Basically give me all the fruit. Oh, and a cheeseburger too please.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope, thank goodness!
Gender: We’ll find out in June!
Labor Signs: A few braxton hicks contractions over the weekend. I didn’t get them with Hudson so I had to google it! Such a strange feeling.
Symptoms: Still dealing with heartburn, but it’s not as bad as it was two weeks ago. And some swelling in my hands. And side cramps.
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Mood: Pretty good! I’m excited to meet this baby! Hudson has said all along that it’s a “boy baby” in my tummy, but last night he said it was a “sister”….so we’ll see!
Looking forward to:  Picking out a name (I know! We still haven’t decided!) and getting everything else ready for baby’s arrival.

You look so good!!! I feel like you just announced and now you are talking about being head-down! Crazy! Maybe this is a bit personal, but what do your BH contractions feel like? Mine are like menstrual cramps…or at least I THINK that's what they are – I have been getting them lately but recognize the feeling. I never got them with Cam, so I feel clueless. Ha!

Ok I'm so dumb, I read the gender part "we'll find out in June" and thought, "I thought they weren't finding out?!". Seriously, lol!! You look fabulous and pregnancy is just doing lovely things to your hair! Haha

32 Weeks

Photobucket
How far along? 32 weeks…only 8 more to go! This pregnancy is flying by.
Maternity clothes? Still a mix of maternity and non-maternity.
Stretch marks? Nope.
Sleep: I’m starting to have a harder time finding a comfortable position at night, but at least once I do I fall asleep quickly. Still getting up twice to go to the bathroom.

Best moment this week:  Taking our maternity photos…the husband was so sweet the entire time, and we just love our photographer. And a special thank you goes out to all of you for your sweet comments on our sneak peak photos….you all sure know how to make a big pregnant girl feel good!

Miss Anything? I miss sleeping on my stomach, but that’s really it!

Movement: Still lots of movement going on in there. My doctor couldn’t tell if baby boy is head first or butt first…he was moving too much.

Food cravings: I’m sticking with fruit and ice cream….sometimes that’s all I want for dinner!

Anything making you queasy or sick: No.

Gender: Baby boy

 Labor Signs: None.

Symptoms: Still some swelling in my fingers when I work out or when it’s hot. And it’s getting harder to take a deep breath….little guy is taking up too much room in there.

Belly Button in or out? In, but it’s getting flatter…I prefer not to really look at it!

Wedding rings on or off? On

Mood: Happy…I’m sometimes stressed and overwhelmed but I don’t think I’ve ever been this happy!

Looking forward to: My birthday on Saturday and starting our kitchen upgrade next week!

You can tell by yourself if you want to know if he's head up or head down.

Go to spinningbabies.com, it tells you how to palpate your own uterus and discern where head/butt are from the bulges and kicks.

    You look so great!

#ad It’s that time of year! Time to make sure yo #ad It’s that time of year! Time to make sure your child is up to date on their well-child visits and vaccines! As the chief advocate for my kids, I always want to make decisions that are the best for them and for our family. There isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for these little loves of mine, and I know all of you can relate! That is why I vaccinate my kids. Vaccinating your child is one of the safest and most effective things you can do to protect them against serious preventable diseases. If you live in Michigan like we do, it’s time to schedule that well-child visit and make sure your kids are up to date on their vaccinations! I’ve done a lot of research and talked to our pediatrician at length about what is best for my family and I would encourage you to do so too. It’s normal to have questions—it makes you a good parent! But make sure you are getting answers from credible sources. Remember, vaccines are safe, effective, and help protect everyone. Ultimately I decided to vaccinate my children because not doing so puts them at risk of contracting a potentially deadly disease. I want the best for my kids. If you have questions or need a reliable resource, check out @IVaccinateMI for information and tools based on real medical science and research to help Michigan parents protect their kids from vaccine-preventable diseases.
