19 Weeks

Photobucket
How far along? 19 weeks. Baby weighs about 8 1/2 ounces and is 6 inches head to bottom.
Maternity clothes? Not yet, but soon I’ll need dress pants for work. I was thinking about ordering some online from Gap maternity….has anyone tried them? I’m unsure of what size to get since everything I have from Gap seems to be a different size and sometimes maternity clothes run big.
Stretch marks? Not yet. I’m using Palmer’s every night.  I’m almost out of it….next I think I’ll try Burt’s Bee’s Mama Bee Belly Butter.
Sleep: I get up about twice each night to go to the bathroom, but other than that it’s okay.

Best moment this week:  Feeling the baby move! The movements are stronger and much more noticeable now. It’s such a crazy feeling.
Miss Anything? Not really…but I did make homemade chocolate chip cookies for the husband over the weekend and really really wanted to take a bite of cookie dough! Giving up alcohol has been super easy since I’m not much of a drinker, but man I wanted that cookie dough. But I was good and resisted.
Movement: There’s no doubt about it now! I can feel little baby moving around and it is the best!
Food cravings: Easter ham and potato casserole. We didn’t have either of these on Easter and now it’s all I can think about! Especially since so many of you have posted photos and recipes.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Still just carrots and broccoli.
Gender: We find out on Monday! I can’t wait! My mom and I both took the day off of work so that we can get our shop on! I’m so excited.
Labor Signs: Way too early.
Symptoms: Nothing this week. I feel great.
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Mood: Excited
Looking forward to:  Finding out the gender on Monday and finally being able to buy boy or girl clothes!

Oh I cannot wait to hear! I hope you dont leave us in suspense for TOO long! Your teeny tiny baby bump is adorable. I have a few things from Gap Maternity and I feel like they fit pretty well. I ordered my normal size (except maternity version).

Looking great Julie! Very excited to hear the gender news! Will my Connor have a little buddy, or a future girlfriend? Feeling baby move is so exciting! Enjoy every second because before you know it, he or she will be here. On another note, I bought my maternity clothes at Target and was very happy. Same size, just maternity style 🙂

gap maternity = best thing EVER. they're 100% true to size. so whatever size you normally wear in their dress pants, order that. their maternity jeans are pretty much the best thing to happen to my pregnancy. AND some baby gaps have maternity sections in them. . . soooo you might even be able to try on in store!

So exciting! You have to do a post before Monday with all your "symptoms" and compare with the old wives tales. I went through all of them and they were equally split between boy and girl. They're not accurate at all, but fun to do!

Gap Maternity pants are great!! Love the fit and quality. You wear your prepregnancy size. Motherhood Maternity pants are much less expensive and fit well too.
