You’re Gonna Miss This…

 You’re gonna miss this
You’re gonna want this back
You’re gonna wish these days hadn’t gone by so fast

These are some good times
So take a good look around
You may not know it now…
But you’re gonna miss this.
Song (and tears in my eyes) courtesy of Trace Adkins.
p.s…..the winner of the Crystal Faye necklace and bangle is Amy from A Glimpse of the Gouglers! Congrats Amy! And stay tuned for more fun goodies from Crystal Faye!

    1. Love him and his sweet face! And 2. Is it bad I even miss those days and it was just a few months ago? We haven't seen our bumbo or had a blowout (which I don't miss) in forever!!

I'm thirty-one weeks pregnant, and when I heard this song on the radio yesterday I started bawling! The pregnancy feels like such a precious time that I'll never get back… I can't imagine how much more I'll relate to this song once she actually gets here! 🙂

I must have recently heard this song because I read the title to your post and already started singing the song! Such sweet photos. Def. keep taking pictures and video of your sweet little guy. I love looking back at some of the video we took of Max's 1st bath. His cry was so different and pitiful.

Glad you're enjoying Hudson and remembering to take a step back sometimes to soak it all in. He makes it pretty easy though since he's awesome! 🙂

Isn't it crazy how songs that were just regular songs before baby, are now SO touching, meaningful, and can make you bawl your eyes out?! Hudson is such a cutie!!

It's true. Enjoy every moment. The good times and the bad. I miss my little boy too. But I'm so proud of the wonderful daddy he's become. I've got tears in my eyes writing this. Hudson makes some wonderful memories for you. And your so great to capture a lot of those moments in pictures!!! Enjoy Hudson and don't stress over the other things life throws at you.

Gentle. That’s the word I’ve chosen for 2021. Gentle. That’s the word I’ve chosen for 2021. Gentle with my children. Gentle with my family. Gentle with myself. Gentle with those who believe differently than I do. Couldn’t we all use a little more gentleness? After 8 years of raising babies and a crazy 2020 it’s what my mind, body, and soul needs. And my kids and family need it from me too. Have you chosen a word for 2021? If so, let me know what it is! (and thank you @bluegrassred for the word inspo! I heard her talk about it a few times on @pantsuitpolitics and I couldn’t get it out of my head. Exactly what I need for this year!)
