Why you haven’t heard from me….

We successfully moved my mom across the country last week. Oh man it was a ton of work. Probably one of the hardest things I have ever done emotionally and physically. And on three hours of sleep!
We were SO glad when it was over! We were so exhausted we didn’t even have time to be sad about leaving…which was good! It took four guys about six hours to load up all of our stuff…which means we had WAY too many things. Oh well. It also took lots of help from several of my mom’s wonderful friends to make it all happen…thank you!
The next day we hit the road….the cat and dog did really well but were totally over it by the time we arrived in Michigan four days later. Thank you for all of your kind comments and well wishes! I’m so ready to get back to normal life!

  4. Moving is hard work and always makes you see how much Crap er uh "stuff" we as people hang on to that we DONT USE or even need….I hate that part!

  10. We moved this weekend, too. It was draining enough moving across town. I can't fathom how tired YOU must be!
