Where a Kid Can Be a Kid

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Chuck E. Cheese’s . The opinions and text are all mine.

Can you guess who had THE BEST DAY EVER? This girl. She got to go to Chuck E. Cheese’s for the first time and had SO much fun. She’s still talking about “the big mouse!” and “the yummy pizza!” “and the tickets!”. And begging to go back, haha!

Chuck E. Cheese’s is revamping several of it’s restaurants and invited us to attend the grand re-opening event at the Walker, Michigan location….and oh my word. My kids still can’t get over it! Hudson and Sadie had so much fun…and I did too! The entire exterior and interior has been remodeled with a focus on fresh food and fun for the whole family!

Hudson wasted no time and went straight to the games! It was so fun to watch him get so excited over them. I have such fond memories of going to Chuck E. Cheese’s with my grandma. She used to take me frequently, probably because I begged and begged, haha! But I remember playing games and getting tickets and eating pizza. A kid’s paradise! And to my surprise, the fun basics at Chuck E. Cheese’s are still there….but with some major improvements now too!

We got there just it time to watch Chuck E. Cheese himself cut the ribbon to officially re-open up the new space! We loved seeing all our favorite characters in action. I was so impressed with all of the remodeling! Everything seemed bright, fresh, and so open!

Sadie especially loved the new light-up dance floor!

Every hour the characters come out and perform a live show! Sadie really got in to it and was so cute!

Sadie loved all of the attention she received from the characters. Helen Henny got several hugs from her throughout the day!

She saved a hug for Chuck E. Cheese too. She kept calling him “the big mouse” and it was the cutest thing ever.

Hudson couldn’t get enough of the games! Chuck E. Cheese’s now offers All You Can Play games! When you arrive, now you can pick a set amount of play time instead of points, and your kids get access to all the games they can play, as many times as they want – no exceptions!

Kids simply swipe their wrist band and play! You can pause your All You Can Play wrist band once to eat or take a break, and then get back to playing. I especially LOVED the All You Can Play because it guaranteed that both of my kids would “run out of time” at the same time. Hudson played more games than Sadie did, but the time expired on their wrist bands at the same time. There is nothing worse than one kid having a ton of credits left and the other kid getting upset because they don’t. All You Can Play made it simple for us! It was a great value!

With such a variety of games to pick from, Hudson and Sadie were able to try out every game, even new ones they had never played before! And get lots of tickets too! They also offer programmable ‘tap-to-play’ Play Pass game card system that you can pre-load with credits, if that’s what you prefer. I love that there are different options, depending on your child’s needs!

In between all the games, we managed to eat a super yummy lunch! Did you know that Chuck E. Cheese’s delicious pizzas are made from scratch daily right in the restaurant? And they only use fresh ingredients that are never frozen. They even make their own dough and hand shred the cheese! Hudson was a little busy playing games, but Sadie was all smiles when it came to eating her yummy pizza!

The pizza was SO good! I was really impressed! Chuck E. Cheese’s now offers self-service kiosks near the entrance of the restaurants to make ordering off the menu simple and fast for parents as well as a lunch buffet Monday-Friday from 11am-3pm. Pizza AND fun? What’s not to love!

It was such a fun day for all of us!

We can’t wait to go back and play some more.

Where a kid can be a kid. And have the best day ever! With yummy food and lots of fun, Chuck E. Cheese’s was a great choice for a fun family day. We will be back soon!

Julie, I was always so thankful when Grandma Mabel took you to Chuck E Cheese when you were a little girl because it meant that I didn’t have to go!! But, this trip was so much better than it used to be and I loved watching the kids have so much fun…..I even played a few of those games! That fishing game was FUN and the pizza was good!
