Someone walked in on me while I was pumping at work. Oh the horror! Even though my door was locked. And my curtain was pulled shut. (You can read about my pumping at work process here). I knew it was bound to happen eventually. But still. No one ever comes in to my office if the door is closed and locked…unless it’s the cleaning staff (who know better to go in when I’m in there!). Leave it up to the IT person and some random dude from the phone company to be the culprits. I think they were just as shocked as I was. And the worst part? They just stood there in my doorway! I had to
ask yell at them THREE times to shut the door. I totally don’t think they saw anything because as soon as the door opened I bent down so I was covered by my desk. But still.
I don’t know about you, but I feel way more vulnerable and exposed while pumping than I do actually nursing my baby. You sort of feel helpless…tied up to a machine with your goods on display. Has this happened to anyone else?
In other, more happy news, I’m guest posting for my girl Britt (who just welcomed her sweet little girl, Scarlett) over at The Magnolia Pair today! I’m getting all mushy talking about how much I love being a mama. I would love it if you would check it out and leave some love!
