Weekend Shenanigans

We had a nice little weekend over here. The kind that doesn’t last long enough. But what weekend does? I vote three day weekends from here on out, don’t you?
My in-laws watched Hudson on Friday and he gave them a run for their money…and thankfully they gave it right back to him and tired out my busy boy with all the fun! I also decided I would take advantage of nap time and put all of those $1 spot Target flash cards on binder rings because having the cards scattered all over my house was starting to make my eyes twitch. Well. You can guess how long that lasted. Here’s a hint: it was under 60 seconds.
On Saturday Hudson and I made our way (for the second time this week) to the library to play. Our library has an amazing children’s section complete with play house, grocery stand, kitchen, crayons, and more blocks, balls, ramps, and dress up clothes than we know what to do with! Oh…and BOOKS! It’s seriously awesome. Hudson was a big boy and sat at this desk and colored for a while. And I tried not to hyper-ventilate picturing him going off to school one day. Oh my word, he looks so stinkin’ big!

The rest of the weekend we hung out at home, watched Hudson’s new favorite Winnie the Pooh, and even played in the rain (in July!!!) a little bit. It was a little slice of heaven.
Happy Monday!

Hudson, slow down! I can't handle how fast he's growing. He looks bigger in every single picture. But oh, how fun are these little boys that we have been blessed with? Never a dull moment, amen? 🙂 Sounds like you guys had a great weekend!
