– the first seasonal home décor collection handpicked by designers and

takes the guesswork out of seasonal decorating” says Christa Melton,
Outdoor Trunk’s Founder and brainchild behind this latest revolution in
DIY design. “Every season, customer’s receive their own personal trunk
filled with décor hand selected with the latest colors, textures, and
hottest items for that season- delivered direct to their door. The
neutral palette of the Trunk provides the base. Customers add their own
flavor through what they already have or through inspiration provided on
the website”, Melton adds.
The
Fall 2014 Season in a Trunk works perfectly indoors or out. Melton
purposefully chose items that work in both environments. “Some regions
of the US are able to enjoy the outdoors all year long,” she says. “For
colder climates, we’ve helped to bring the outdoors in through color,
texture and materials.” Most notable is a custom made “Gather” sign
crafted by an artist utilizing recycled metals. “It lends an organic
feel and perfectly conveys the message of Outdoor Trunk – to create a
space conducive for conversation to open doors and build relationships.
