10 months. TEN MONTHS. How is that possible? Fastest and bestest 10 months of my life.
Sadie is sugar, spice, everything nice, rainbows, and happiness. I know I say that every month, but she is just bursting with joy all the time. Except when a cashier at Target tries to talk to her….then she’s all seriousness and grumpiness. But other than that she’s pure joy.
She’s getting hair (and it’s RED!) slowly but surely. And has her 4 front teeth.
Sadie is a champion speed crawler and expert picker upper of dirt and dust on the floor. If you drop something, she will be sure to find it. And put it in her mouth faster than you can say expert picker upper. Girlfriend is making me vacuum every day.
Biggest milestone this month? Starting to pull herself up to stand. The first time she did it I didn’t even see it….I had left her in the bathroom to go put her dirty clothes in the hamper and when I came back in she was standing up watching the water fill the tub. And naked. And so proud of herself. You better believe I snapped a photo…but I’ll spare you that one.
I have no idea how much she weighs…but we are going to the doctor this morning for her 9 month checkup (second child problems….) so I’ll update that info when we get back. Update: Sadie is 29.3 inches long and 21 lbs 14 oz.
Another big milestone this month? NAPS. Hallelujah. I nap trained her this month and now she takes decent naps…they aren’t perfect but they are SO MUCH BETTER than before. And she’s been sleeping through the night about 60% of the time.
Sadie pretty much eats what we eat but is still being breastfed 5-7 times a day. When she wants some milk she’ll crawl up to me, grab my shirt and stick her head down it. Girlfriend knows what she wants! Her favorite foods are raspberries, peaches, bananas, yogurt, green beans, corn, peas, and mac n’ cheese. Oh and graham crackers. And she flips out over those freeze dried yogurt puffs.
Her favorite people are still mama, Hudson, and daddy…in that order. She tackles Hudson every morning and tries to eat his face. She loves him so much and it just melts my heart.
I don’t know what we’d do without her.
10 months, goodness me! Time sure is flying. She is so stinking cute and woohoo for pulling up!
Getting more mobile!!! I can't wait for the walking & more sibling play. Finn puts all the things in his mouth, and it's so disgusting.
Oh sweet Sadie…you are just too precious! Happy 10 months. That last picture of them just melts me. Sweet brother/sister duo!!

10 months is nuts! I can hardly believe our babies are already so big! Nap training? Do tell. We're at war with naps right now. And bedtime for that matter. I'm glad to hear she's napping better for you and is sleeping better at night for you too! Happy 10 months, Sadie!
