Real exciting stuff….

Happy Monday my friends! I’ve got some real exciting stuff to share today. #notreally.

This weekend went by too fast. I think I need to take a week off of work to get some actual rest…who’s with me?

We spent our days alternating between playing outside in the snow and trying to occupy Hudson inside. Good times.

My husband snapped this photo…pretty much sums up our outside snow adventures. Hudson just wants to roll around in the snow or eat it. #donteatyellowsnow

Here’s a tip for mamas who live where there is snow. Only buy snow pants that are like overalls. Because otherwise snow somehow manages to get down their pants and you get a half naked baby when you come inside!

In other riveting news, I got my paint on this weekend.

I’ve been wanting to paint our kitchen for two years now….but I was
pregnant, then in a baby coma….so I have a good excuse for waiting SO
long. I can’t wait to finish it so I can share it with you all!

The color I picked is “comfort gray” by Sherwin Williams…it’s the third one (count from the top) and I am in LOVE with the color. It’s the perfect grayish greenish blueish color.

I hope your weekend was exciting as mine!

P.S…I made a mistake in my post on Friday about our Citrus Lane box. I said you could get $10 off your first box….but it’s actually 50% off with free shipping when you click here. And you can cancel at any time. If you’ve been on the fence about joining, now’s the time! (and I am not being paid to say that…we just love our boxes each month!) You can see our past boxes here: March / February / January / November / October / September / August

I forgot to blog about December…but we loved that one too!

Love the gray color! I know it can be overwhelming to find the right shade. It always amazed me how when I bring all the swatches home from the store and tape them to the wall they look so different than in the store. Comfort gray looks perfect!

Overall snowpants have been our LIFESAVER this winter!!!!! Do you have the mittens that come up to his elbows, too? They never fall off…a must have!

I am so jealous you get to paint! I love picking out new paint colors. (And, I love painting, which is weird.)

    Happy Monday!

Can't wait to see how your kitchen turns out! Blue/greys are my favorite (Caleb's nursery is a bluish grey!) – they are neutral enough to incorporate a lot of colors into, but still enough color to make a room pop. Love it!:) Wishing sunshine and warm weather your way soon so you can ditch the snowpants for another year and let Hudson run around pants-less all the time:)

I can't even imagine all the snow you live with all winter long!!! I am a Texas girl through and through, so snow is fun for a day or two but not longer than that!!! Here's to hoping spring comes soon for you!!! 🙂

Hudson is just adorable! I have a 10 month old baby boy myself and started following your blog when I was about 10 months pregnant. It has been so helpful and insightful. I especially loved your breastfeeding diary series. I struggled with nursing and it was nice to see other mom's who were going through the same difficulties as I was.

After debating for a long time on what color to paint our master bedroom we chose the same color gray. I love the way it looks in our room. NIce choice! Have fun with the painting. I am sure Hudson would love to help out!
