Pillow Fort Fun and Popcorn Munchie Snack Mix

 photo IMG_9557.jpg
Hudson’s favorite snack lately has been popcorn! Or “corn” as he calls it! The other day we decided to use our teepee and build a fort and munch on some popcorn…..my little camper had the best time!

He’s too focused on eating that big ol’ bowl of Pop Secret popcorn to smile for mommy.

We also decided to use our popcorn to make our new favorite treat…popcorn munchie snack mix! You can basically use whatever you have on hand to make this mix. We used Pop Secret popcorn, pretzel sticks, chex cereal, and m&ms.

This is basically the easiest recipe ever. Combine all of your snack mix ingredients on some wax paper and then drizzle white chocolate on top.

My assistant snuck a few pieces while I was melting the chocolate. Little stinker.

Then, just let everything harden for 20 minutes or so….and enjoy! Super easy and sooooo yummy.

Then, I divided out some snack mix in to mason jars and decorated them with a little ribbon.

I plan on making these again to give to Hudson’s teachers as Valentine’s day gifts! Aren’t they cute? We snacked on this mix all weekend and it was so good!

Popping the perfect bowl of Pop Secret popcorn was a delicious addition to our fort camp-out and perfect base for our yummy recipe!

My husbnad and I are HUGE popcorn fiends. We air pop some popcorn probably every other night for our healthy dessert. Sometimes, if we are feeling good, we will add dark chocolate m&ms. Your Valentine's day mix looks delicious!!! Such a sweet gift!

And your lil guy is so cute with his teepee, animals and popcorn! PRECIOUS, I tell you! Have a great day!

It really is true when they say the days are long It really is true when they say the days are long but the years are short. One day I’m struggling to carry two babies at a time while wrangling a toddler and then next minute they are all off to school and practices and friends’ houses. With all three kids in school we’ve been thinking a lot about their futures and how we are going to one day pay for college. We set up a Michigan Education Trust 529 plan for each of our kids when they were babies and I am SO happy we did! With a MET account, we can pay for future college tuition at today’s prices. With MET’s discounted age-based pricing the earlier you start, the more you are able to save! Plus grandparents and other loved ones can contribute to my kids’ accounts too! With MET you get back what you put in if your child chooses a different path and the money goes with you if your child goes to school out of state. You can even transfer it to immediate family members and all contributions to MET plans are tax deductible! To learn more about how to set up a MET account and the benefits of starting your child’s account early, check out my stories or the link in my bio. @mieducationtrust #sponsored #SETwithMET #MI529 #collegesavings #METSept2023
