My green thumb…or not

I do not have a green thumb at all. Most plants and flowers I buy usually die…unless they are the kind that can tolerate going from being watered every day to being watered whenever I remember. Luckily I’ve discovered a few Julie-friendly plants and flowers to help make our house look pretty.

I did step outside the box and picked up a dahlia. I want to make sure I capture it’s prettiness before I kill it.

I also made some hanging baskets…once they fill in they’ll be pretty. I hope!

Girl, I have a black thumb! The only thing I've managed not to kill is a camelia that was gifted to me last year. I have killed everything else I've ever purchased. My neighbor has this gorgeous yard, every English garden-esque and I want that soooo bad, but, then I remember that I cannot care for plants. Sad face.

So pretty! I need to add some color to my porch area. I just didn't want to invite bees to hang out that close to my door in case they come in. I don't get along with bees. Your helpers are adorable!

Such a cute house! And I am the same way with plants. They have to be VERY tolerant of little watering:)
