Makin’ Valentines

photo IMG_5039.jpgI’ve been looking forward to making Valentine’s Day cards with Hudson all year! I know that soon enough he probably won’t care about cards….or want batman and superman cards….so I’m taking advantage of the fact that I can do whatever I want! I found these adorable dinosaur cards here. I’m obsessed with them and they are perfect for a rambunctious little boy! I sent them to kinkos to be printed, then cut them out and backed them on pink chevron and red paper.

photo IMG_5070.jpgThen, Hudson decorated the back of them with heart stickers and crayons. He had a blast.
photo IMG_5053.jpgHe’s obsessed with stickers and putting them on his belly or my face. Can I just bottle him up and keep him forever?
photo IMG_5058.jpgI’m excited to give these to Hudson’s daycare buddies and friends! They would be super cute with a little dinosaur toy attached, but some of Hudson’s friends are a little too young for a small toy.
photo IMG_5044.jpgSooo…we attached a few fun dinosaur stickers to each card! And wrapped them up with red baker’s twine….my favorite.
What are you doing with your littles for Valentine’s day?

CUTE!!! I designed a little bear hug valentine and we're giving teddy grahams to Dominick's daycare class and friends. 😀 I love that you let him color and add stickers, I think I may let Dominick do that too. Super adorable.

That's adorable. I want to do Valentine's too, but Aiden isn't in daycare and doesn't really have very many people to give them too:( I guess he's not even a year yet, so there will be more years!

Holy stinking cuteness. I absolutely love Valentine's Day and can't wait to have little ones to do fun projects like this! And the little baby hair wisps on the back of Hudson's head just SLAY me– he couldn't be any cuter!

So adorable! I love how you made it your own with the backing, Hudson's artwork and the twine / stickers! We've been crafting a few of ours a day and they are much less cool looking! Ha!

So adorable! I feel you on the whole squeezing in cuteness before boys no longer tolerate it thing! We are going to bake cookies to take to loved ones. My preschooler is really into cooking so he will enjoy baking and decorating them.

Love those! We have one of the prints from them in my son's nursery. Not a great photo, but here it is: http://alwayspaintedusuallychipped.blogspot.com/2012/10/nurseryrevealed.html

Super cute! I think we're going the traditional route and will decorate red cut-out hearts, with lots of stickers and crayons 🙂

Aw, super cute!!! My little is only 7 weeks old but we're still going to make valentines that she can hand out to her cousins (of course it's more for me, the excited new momma…besides it's too cold here in the D so we have to keep busy indoors somehow!)

So cute! What a great idea! I've been searching Pinterest for a good idea…something that is all around age appropriate because at Mason's daycare there are kids of all ages. These are great!

"Rawr means I love you in Dinosaur!" I mean how stinking cute is that!!! Noah and I just made our valentines too! I was way more excited than I probably should have been, I loaded up on crafting supplies and all sorts of fun things and we plugged away! It is SO much more fun doing things like this with a little one who can participate and see the innocence and fun through their eyes! I love it!
