Kid Tested, Mom Approved: Making Memories

Welcome to another round of Kid Tested, Mom Approved! I hope you all are loving this series as much as I am! Today the lovely Emily from Dear Owen is our host and the theme is making memories. Hudson turning one last week taught me that time with my little baby is going by way faster than I ever imagined. I’m excited today to learn different ways you’ve been able to capture and preserve those precious memories!
HOVER TEXT

You know the drill…grab the code above, put it in your post, and link up below!

Today I’m sharing how to make a subway art 1st year photo for free on PicMonkey.  I thought that this would be a fun and easy project to capture Hudson’s favorite things as well as stats now that he is a big one year old!

PicMonkey is super easy to use. Open it up and then click “edit a photo”

Then click the “Tt” icon to add text. Once you do that, all of the fonts available will show up on the left.

Type in your text and then use the text editor screen to change the size and color.

Then start typing away! I used several of my favorite fonts…all of which are free!

Use PicMonkey to move and re-size the text until it looks good. Here are the fonts I used: Geo Sans Light, RNS Camelia, Bradley Hand ITC, Mossy, La Belle Aurore, Budmo Jiggler, Learning Curve, Ecuyerdax, Tall Dark and Handsome, and Sacramento.

Then, save your photo and print! It’s perfect for a first birthday party gift bag tag or just to put on display.

Don’t forget that next week Tuesday the theme is “tried and true toys”….and I’m hosting!
