It’s the most wonderful time of the year

Happy October everyone! October is my favorite month….it means fall leaves, pumpkins, hot apple cider, celebrating our anniversary (in two days!) and fall fashion. I love busting out leggings and boots and cute sweaters!

This dress is perfect for pumpkin picking posing! It’s the Crazy in Love dress in navy from my sponsor, In Bloom Boutique. I got so many compliments on this dress! I love that it’s different and fun…definitely a stand out dress!

For actual pumpkin picking I wore the Geo Infinity Scarf (LOVE!) and the Rugby in gold, also from In Bloom Boutique. My husband told me I looked skinny in this top…it’s totally a keeper!
Use code “REDSHOES20” to save 20% off of any In Bloom Boutique order! I love that everything is so reasonably priced….and incredibly cute!

I’m seriously crushing on this Elbow Patch Cardi, navy polka-dot top and the Come on Over sweater….they would make perfect additions to my fall wardrobe!

Now, meet Kelly, one of the super sweet owners of In Bloom Boutique!

 ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

Hi! My name is Kelly and my mom and I are the proud owners of In Bloom Boutique! I have always loved shopping. When I was younger, I used to pour over store catalogs, circling everything I loved and dreaming about owning it all. My mom has always been very business-savvy. She worked as a manager for a major retailer for years and, more recently, in the accounting field. Over the years we have talked about working together and dreamed about opening a store together, but it always felt just out of our reach. Finally, we decided in March of 2013 to just go for it! I mean, what were we waiting for?!

The most important things to us, when opening our store, were to pick pieces that we could stand behind, love to wear, and feel good in as well as provide above par customer service to our customers. We love getting emails and are available to answer questions about sizing, material, and fit anytime.

We absolutely love our job and all of the friendships we have made along the way. I would say our favorite and the most exciting part about this job is seeing how our customers style our pieces. It is literally the highlight of our day!

Gentle. That’s the word I’ve chosen for 2021. Gentle. That’s the word I’ve chosen for 2021. Gentle with my children. Gentle with my family. Gentle with myself. Gentle with those who believe differently than I do. Couldn’t we all use a little more gentleness? After 8 years of raising babies and a crazy 2020 it’s what my mind, body, and soul needs. And my kids and family need it from me too. Have you chosen a word for 2021? If so, let me know what it is! (and thank you @bluegrassred for the word inspo! I heard her talk about it a few times on @pantsuitpolitics and I couldn’t get it out of my head. Exactly what I need for this year!)
