It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas…..

As promised…our Christmas tree!

This is after it fell….3 times. We learned that a new sturdy tree stand makes a world of difference!

After Thanksgiving dinner my in-laws gave me two of these adorable old fashioned berry crates. The other one is a little bit larger. Oh how I LOVE them! My in-laws know me so well. I’m so excited to come up with ways to use them around the house.

I got tired of hanging up all of these glass balls and bells. Cute solution…put them in a bowl!
This is also in our living room. I bought the three white trees last year at an after Christmas sale and totally forgot about them until I unwrapped all of our stuff. Such a fun surprise!
The husband insisted we display his Kermit the frog. And I have to admit, I sort of like him. (And thank you in advance for ignoring the dust on the shelf…and the last-name-cover-up job on the husband’s baseball.)
Our plant needed some Christmas cheer too!
Christmas in the dining room. I love my collection of mercury glass trees.
 Henry helping decorate.
Wrigley checking out the tree. So far he’s only destroyed one ornament! Last year we put a baby gate around the tree to keep him away. I’m hoping he will be better behaved this year so we don’t have to do that again!
Pancake aka “The Christmas Kitty”. He LOVES our Christmas tree.

That’s my good boy. Don’t you just love Christmas???

Your tree and decorations are beautiful! Granda "B" would be thrilled & surprised to see his old berry carriers in his grandson's home, thanks to your creativity & gret sense of style. It makes my heart very happy!

Gentle. That’s the word I’ve chosen for 2021. Gentle. That’s the word I’ve chosen for 2021. Gentle with my children. Gentle with my family. Gentle with myself. Gentle with those who believe differently than I do. Couldn’t we all use a little more gentleness? After 8 years of raising babies and a crazy 2020 it’s what my mind, body, and soul needs. And my kids and family need it from me too. Have you chosen a word for 2021? If so, let me know what it is! (and thank you @bluegrassred for the word inspo! I heard her talk about it a few times on @pantsuitpolitics and I couldn’t get it out of my head. Exactly what I need for this year!)
