Hudson turned 6 months old on Tuesday ! How is my little baby already so old? Time is flying by. It was just yesterday that I was 6 months pregnant!
Height and Weight: According to my measurements Hudson weighs 20 pounds and is 27.5 inches tall….but we’ll know for sure next week at his doctor’s appointment.
Health: It seems like as soon as he gets over one cold he gets another one a few days later. We are currently drowning in snot over here. But other than that he is as healthy as can be!
Sleep: Usually Hudson is up just once at night…but he’s been sick so sometimes it is more. Not gonna lie…it’s been rough. He also refuses to nap for more than 30 minutes at daycare and is so exhausted when he gets home! He naps a little better at home but does not like it when you put him in his crib. His preferred napping spot on my chest….and I love it so much I’m teaching him bad habits, but I can’t help it! I love snuggling my sweet boy.
Diet: 100% breastmilk until last week. Hudson seemed ready to start cereal so we just decided to give it a try! He totally liked the spoon the most and could care less about the cereal! The next day he didn’t want anything to do with solid food and the day after that he loved it….so we are just following his cues and not pushing it.
Clothes: Hudson is wearing size 6-9 months in clothing and 9 months in pjs. Still wearing size 3 diapers.
Baby Gear Love: Hudson LOVES toys and books this month! He loves to sit and play with all of his toys….it is just the cutest thing ever. His favorites are toys that play music, books, and balls (such a boy!).
Crying: Hudson only cries when he is super tired or hungry. Or when you take my iphone away from him.
Likes: He loves to giggle, read books, splash in the bathtub, watch Wrigley play, pet the kitties, bounce in his jumper, stuff everything possible into his mouth, and sit and play with his toys.
Postpartum: I think the hair loss is finally getting better. I’m still shedding a ton of hair but it seems like it’s a little less than before. And all of a sudden my sensitive skin is even more sensitive.
Social: Hudson is such a little lover. Everyone loves his chubby cheeks and his sweet smile. He’s really been a happy baby this month.
Milestones: Hudson can sit up! Every now and then he falls over so we still use the boppy as a prop. He can also spin himself around while lying on his tummy….but he hates tummy time. He discovered his feet this month and loves to try and eat his foot! (And look at that red hair! I love it!)
We love you sweet boy! You have changed our lives for the better.
