Fun on the 4th

 photo IMG_7480.jpg
I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July! We are so lucky to live in a country where we can celebrate our freedom with the ones we love. We packed up and headed to my mom’s lake cottage (with my father-in-law in tow too!) for a fun and relaxing long weekend.
We took Hudson on his very first canoe ride and he loved it…until he declared it “all done!” and my husband had to speed paddle it back to the shore. And I didn’t take any pictures because my mom had me convinced that Hudson was going to rock the boat and dump us all in the water so I didn’t take my phone with me. Thank goodness that didn’t happen and we all survived!

Hudson had the best weekend ever, filled with lots of love from gigi and grandpa, sand, water, a bounce house, and lots of playing outside!

I hope you enjoyed your holiday too!

So glad little man didn't dump your boat over!:) I've only been in a canoe once, and I was terrified that it would tip over the whole time, lol! Sounds like you guys had a good holiday weekend – love the pic of you and your sweet boys:)
