Fun at the Farmer’s Market

 photo DSC_1844.jpg
I mentioned yesterday that Hudson and I took a trip to the farmer’s market over the weekend. I was a little nervous because it was the first time we’ve attempted the trip without daddy.

Luckily I was prepared with Hudson’s stroller, lots of snacks, and my new Fresh Market Thermal from Thirty-One!

We have the best farmer’s market. I wish it was open year round. Except that it wouldn’t be nearly as much fun in the winter.
These peaches were SO good. Hudson turned his nose up at them. How is he my kid?
Raspberries are probably my most favorite food ever. I could eat them at every meal for the rest of my life and never get tired of them.
I bought tons of squash, zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes, berries, cherries, and peaches….and yet I still wanted more! It’s so nice to have fresh produce in our house.

My friend in real life, Julie, works full-time for Thirty-One and is my go-to person for all of my fun bags. I knew this Fresh Market Thermal would be perfect for the farmer’s market.

It holds SO much stuff and keeps all of my fruits and veggies nice and cool.

Thirty-One has the cutest bags and the cutest prints. I’m in love with this “Party Punch” print. Isn’t it adorable?

I’ve taken the Fresh Market Thermal to my mom’s lake cottage several times and it has kept all of our food nice and cool. This would be the perfect bag to take on a picnic or out on the boat! It can hold two 9×13 pans inside which would also make it easy to use for a potluck.
Julie and I went to high school together! Our name isn’t super popular so it was fun to meet someone with the best name ever. Julie let me know that she is having an outlet sale of Thirty-One items this Thursday, July 18th, starting at 3:00 a.m. EST. There is going to be some SERIOUSLY cute stuff at CRAZY low prices! To get access to the sale you can join Julie’s facebook group HERE.
And here’s another tip: Julie is always doing fun giveaways and sales on her facebook page. I’ve gotten so much cute stuff from her!

I love going to the Farmer's Market in the summer too! I love how yours is under that canopy — must be nice on really hot days. I've heard so much about the 31 bags — I might need to buy one!

Your farmers market looks awesome! I love getting our produce from our own local market. The bag looks like a great asset!

Your farmers' market puts mine to shame! I love that bag, what a good idea to bring to the market instead of just using plastic bags!

I love 31!!! Someone got us a big open bag for a wedding gift that says my new last name on it. Ours is camo with orange lettering. I am planning on having a party just so I can get this design because it is much girlier than our camo but I love it for carrying groceries into the house (:

You do have a great farmers market- I've been avoiding ours because there is no shade! So the bag will fit 9x13s when it is sitting up, or do you have to lay it on its side? Very tempting! My daughter still doesn't like any stonefruits, which are my faves…it's all about the apples for her:)

Cute bag! We love our local farmer's market too. Mac is obsessed with plums now and eats 2-3 a day! I need to get back there and try the peaches, now that they're ripe. And raspberries! YUM! What are Hudson's favorites these days?
