Friday Five….or Four

Oh hey Friday…nice to see you again. You know the drill…
 photo IMG_9167copy.jpg

{one} Happy Halloween! Be sure to join me for the Halloween Costume Link Up Party and show off your kiddos in their cute costumes! You can find the link up and details here. Hudson is Sheriff Woody this year and I’m obsessed! When did my cowboy get so big?

{two} I’ve had a pretty bad stomach bug the past week and therefore haven’t had ANY Halloween candy. It’s so unlike me. It totally sounds disgusting. It hurts to look at this photo. And that is so depressing.
{three} Out of the blue, Hudson is terrified of taking a bath. Like screams, huge tears rolling down his face, and even shakes. I have zero clue what started it, because he was fine one day and terrified the next. We’ve tried everything. Us taking a bath with him, fun bath toys, a bath in the kitchen sink…nothing works. I tried to shower with him and he screamed the entire time and kicked the you know what out of my c-section scar while I was holding him and I couldn’t take it. Luckily I married a man that is much more patient that me….he coaxed Hudson to take a shower with him and once he got in he LOVED it. And keeps asking for a shower. I’m not ready for my baby to grow up.
{four} Have you seen the Kate Spade/Jack Spade collection at the Gap? Oh. My. Word. I mean, hotdog scarf? Hudson NEEDS this!
{five} Honestly, I’ve got nothing for #5. I’m still not feeling the best. Enjoy some Halloween candy for me!
And now I’m linking up with basically everyone….

Hudson looks great! My nephew used to be OBSESSED with Toy Story. This week they had cowboy/cowgirl day at school and my Dad mentioned that he looked like Woody and he exclaimed "No, that's a kiddy movie!" It broke all of our hearts! He is getting so big! ENJOY! Happy Halloween!

Hudson is the cutest Woody ever!! That bath/shower thing is kind of hilarious!! So weird that he all of a sudden was terrified of baths, glad he finally likes something though!! That hot dog scarf is too much!! Hudson would definitely rock it!! Hope y'all have a great weekend & Happy Halloween!!!

Is it out of line that I'm hoping it's less of a stomach bug and more of a baby? Yes, that's inappropriate to say. Sorry. 🙂 hope you feel better soon!

The Woody costume is such a great idea. Toy Story is/was the best!

Hudson is an adorable Woody! Hope you start feeling better soon….dare I guess this could be bout of morning sickness… 🙂 Liam loves taking showers with me, so it happens almost daily now. It's fun for everyone I suppose. Happy Halloween!

We had the same thing happen at around 2.5 with baths! Suddenly, our daughter was terrified and would scream and cry all through her baths (or refuse to sit down at all!). We did showers for awhile, but then were able to get her to have baths again by buying those little tablets that color baths. She loved throwing them in and seeing the colors and was finally ok with baths again. It had the bonus of helping to teach her color mixing when we put in more than one!

Also loving the kate spade line at Gap! The hot dog scarf is a must! 😉

Scarlett went through a weird bath phase too where she just hated it but it was short lived. She's terrified of Showers lol!!

I'll be linking up for the costume party once I get a picture. Two year olds are hard to photograph 😉

    Happy Halloween!! xo

Stomach bug…yuck! I haven't had much candy either, which is totally not like me. I think it's the weather…it's been too warm here to feel like Halloween! So, Cam just started wanting showers, too…is this a phase? I love taking a shower with him (He's the opposite – only wants to shower with me), but I used to love when he took a bath because it's so relaxing and not rushed like a shower! These boys!!

I hope you (and Woody) have a great Halloween and weekend!

Hope you feel better soon! And Hudson loses his fear of the bath, although he does look pretty cute peering out of the shower 🙂

I totally saw that hotdog scarf and DIED. How cute! Hudson totally needs that for sure! Hopefully bath time will return soon – if we are in a hurry, B or I will pop Caleb into the shower with us, but I am definitely not ready for that to be a regular thing!!! Happy Halloween, sweet friend. Hope you're feeling better soon!!!

Hudson is super cute as Woody! And my older son went through a sudden fear of baths stage too at one point. It went away just as mysteriously as it came and I still have no idea what it was all about. I don't remember exactly when it was but I think it was around 18 months.

That is the cutest picture of Hudson. Kids are
So funny – they get scared of things from one day to the next. My son is scared of sleeping in his bed. Literally from one day to another.

That is the cutest picture of Hudson in the shower! Oh my gosh. He looks so happy 🙂 Mason LOVES the bath and my step mom wanted to give him one while we were visiting last year and Mason screamed bloody murder the WHOLE TIME. Then we came home and he was fine. So weird! Toddlers 🙂

My son just all of a sudden developed a fear of the bathtub too. Out of the blue, just like Hudson. We've tried it all too. But, we haven't tried the shower yet, I just think that would be scarier. We're going on 3 weeks now of this, so we're trying the shower tomorrow!
