Dreaming of White Kitchen Cabinets

Good morning everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. We sure did! Everyone we know decided to have a get-together over the weekend…so we were busy going from one event to another. And I didn’t take a single picture…go figure.

Anyway, I’ve been obsessed all weekend with white kitchen cabinets. Every single kitchen I’ve pinned in Pinterest has white cabinets. I’ve always disliked our current cabinets…nothing is wrong with them but they are just not for me.

Here’s an old picture…dishes in the sink and all. I’d take a picture of them right now but my kitchen is currently even messier!
After going white in our bathroom I can’t help but want to go white in the kitchen too. 

This kitchen has a similar layout to ours. LOVE.

I love how fresh and clean this kitchen feels. 
So now, all that’s left to do is convince my husband. When I told him what I wanted to do he just rolled his eyes and told me “one project at a time”…..so at least it wasn’t a no!

  1. Few things beat the loveliness that is a clean, crisp, white kitchen. Love love love this. The middle pic just might be my fav, from the farmhouse sink to the built-in wine cooler in the island… swoon!

  2. I love WHITE. No joke. our bedroom duvet is WHITE. my Dog is WHITE. and We have white kitchen cabinets. I will say, even with no kids, they are a BIT*H to keep clean. No lie! It doesn't take long for the handles of cabinets to get smudged from the oils in your hands to show. Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is my best friend!

  8. I'm planning on painting my kitchen cabinets white soon, too! My husband's reaction was "No!" at first but I kept showing him pictures of lovely white kitchens and now he just grunts when I mention it. So I think I'm wearing him down! Hahaha! He'll love it when it's done…

  9. I definitely like white cabinets in a kitchen! When my parents redid our kitchen at home they did white cabinets and it just freshens up the whole room so much!

  11. The white cabinets are pretty….LOVE the ceiling in the second kitchen. I had no regrets when I painted the oak cabinets white in my old kitchen…..now you've got me thinking about painting my cabinets at the lake house. Unfortunately, I need to follow the husbands rule….one project at a time and there are so MANY projects here!

  12. I got the boy to paint our cabinets white in our rental (Landlord approved of course!) It made such a dramatic difference but it took forever! And my boyfriend always rolls his eyes at me and says "One project at a time" haha! Funny thing is when I begin a project, he wants to finish it because he wants it done "his" way because I am too "laid back" about it! haha
