Catching Up on a Tuesday

Happy Tuesday everyone. I took a day off of work yesterday to recharge and unwind. I “unplugged” and didn’t e-mail, check facebook, blog, or even read blogs….it was sort of wonderful. I highly recommend taking a break every now and then!
So, what did I do on Monday? Not much. Took Wrigley to the dog park, went grocery shopping (which, by the way, why was it so crowded on a Monday morning? Don’t people work???) and did some laundry. Fun day off right? I actually really enjoyed it!
It also helped that I had Dexter season 2 to entertain me.
And lots of these around…my favorite.
Which I then had to make up for eating by spending some time on this.
All in all a very good day.

In other news, the weather guy is predicting a huge snow storm to hit Michigan. I’m totally praying and hoping for a SNOW DAY! It NEVER happens in Michigan. So please please please send thoughts of lots of a snow day my way!

What a treat to take a day off!! Kyle says almost every morning "let's play hookie today" and every time I say no and drudge onto work… maybe one day I'll cave and spend the entire day in my pjs watching tv and eating candy hearts (MY FAV). Sounds perfect!!

Having a day off like that is just so nice sometimes! Just to do the things you need to do and relax.
