Birthday Weekend

Thank you for all of the sweet birthday messages! You all sure know how to make a girl feel special.

My birthday weekend was perfect. A little shopping with my mom, dinners out, Harry Potter watching (loved it!), apple pie, and some sweet gifts. What could be better?

The husband surprised me with this gorgeous ceramic watch….and funny enough my mom got me one that was almost identical. They know me well! So her watch got returned and now I’m on the hunt for something to replace it. Maybe a fun new purse or shoes? Decisions, decisions.

The awesome surprise of the day goes to my husband’s cousin’s wife, Melissa. She sent me this adorable cake plate….that she made herself! A mason jar cake plate??? Are you kidding me! I loved it. Thank you Melissa! And thanks to my co-workers for the amazing yummy cookies.

On Saturday the husband and I went up to my mom’s lake cottage to relax and go tubing with friends. My mom finally has furniture up there and it’s starting to look like a real house! I’ll post pictures as soon as she’s done adding her special touch to the place.

  7. I love tubing! It's exciting & scary at the same time. I love that your mom and hubby got you almost the same watch – last Christmas my mom and bf DID get me the same watch! ha!
